Actually no, the way things were going that is an amazingly perfect night kill if you are scum.
Antny vs me, two lynch trains of Hunger and me. Both town. Scum picks sides at random, decent activity, let the two/three town people slug it out and see a mislynch done either way, gets us to lylo. Menu's death really just reinforces what I was already thinking.
Because Antny and I just spent 5 pages attempting to skewer each other. Also I don't come off as the most adjustable sort, I am very sure scum had already grabbed their popcorn to watch the show.
Also I did spend the first two days thinking you were town. Plus, as I highlighted, if I flipped town Antny was going to think very lowly of you. And I don't think anyone seriously suspected Menu.
I mean there's lots of reasons really. I think I just named 5.
So I re-read day 2 over the weekend and something became very clear to me, and I think it is going to be clear to Antny as soon as we have time to discuss it: Wildfire is scum.
In my haste to see a Hunger/Plum connection, which to be fair I guess could still be there, I didn't properly follow my own line of questioning to Wildfire. The kill of Menu, actually, I think is very clever from my perspective. Block the inactive Cross, negating much of his strength, leave alive Antny who is pretty convinced I am scum, and kill the very active player who I successfully traded blows with. Scum does not fear power, they fear activity. So in that respect it looks like the mass claim didn't hurt us after all.
This is the exchange though that made me just BLINK at myself because I let something go yesterday that I was really dumb to do:
In fact Wildfire you just crossed into triple word score bad. You JUST pointed out that Hunger and Plum were both on the SNL lynch. Plum spend a fair portion of the day on BE and has expressed his scumminess and Hunger, if I recall, is still on him now.
I'm voting BE over Plum because we don't know who the vig is between Antny and Plum AND I'D LIKE TO KEEP IT THAT WAY.
As it stands, the scum can kill Cross tonight and have their roleblock free to do whatever with. If they don't know where the Vig is (assuming he's more than a 1-shot Vig), he might actually get to do something productive.
Of course, if the other of the two is scum, they'll know where the vig is anyhow.... blah.

It wasn't who he was voting. It was who he was voting while at the same time who he was suspecting to be scummy.
Also something caught my eye as well. I read it and went "Oh, I see." I feel like Antny and I between us have the keys to this game, I just think we've been fragmented in our approach. We both see things, and a lot of them are even correct, we just need to combine the picture.

He said if I was town he'd look at Wildfire MUCH more harshly, I, knowing I am town, am now looking at Wildfire much more harshly.
Also did Menu have hundreds of posts at the time I said that? Maybe he did, I looked at Menu's post count yesterday and went "O_o." He has indeed posted a lot.
Useless note: you will know when I am not being polite. You don't like being called lazy, I don't like a argument of mine being called OMGUS. We both reacted negatively to those things. See how that works? We have both said things about each other's play that neither of us likes at all.
I have belittled actual doctors before about their mafia play, so when I say I respect your intelligence that is just me saying I am not thinking you're dumb or trying to call you dumb, it is my way of trying to separate harsh mafia discussion from getting personal. Maybe not required, I just like to clarify.
Also I think it is a bit silly to say I am attacking the person when I discussed your points with you quite a bit. I mean sure I may have made some comments about you but I also by and large, even if you think I am scum, addressed your points to a large degree.
It isn't that I don't care (btw seriously? You and I have had HUGE posts back and forth with one another and you're reading this as 'chris doesn't care what I think of him' <_<?) it is that... I have my opinions. I have my thoughts on the game. We obviously completely disagree on a major one: the status of the man known as Hunger. I really think he is scum. You really don't. I can't imagine a scenario where you go "you know what, this chris guy seems alright" while I am trying to bury your top town lead. I also have enough experience defending myself as town to get the case: I disagree with chris, he isn't straight forward, I can't read into what in the hell he thinks he is doing, this is scummy." I know you have a more detailed breakdown, but that's just the brief summary. I made a decision years ago to just play the game how I like to play, and that means there isn't a big divide between how I play as either faction, so stuff like this happens.
Anyway it is quite obvious this is just a culture clash. It makes sense that when we have two very different styles we aren't going to see things the same way. I am not conceding you are right, merely that you have a right to look at me like I have a second head.

I am not personally insulted by OMGUS, my point was that it... is so far removed from reality that you should be ashamed to even say it. Like the term 'OMGUS' to describe my points against Hunger yesterday at any point is just wildly off. I like defending myself, I can't defend things that didn't happen. I can say you have nerve and still like engaging back and forth, I just want you to make sense is all.
