Is anyone caught up with votals? I am used to being able to track them better, but I wanted to confirm something. Basically I think people who want to lynch BE look bad because it is pretty easy to go after the guy swinging his fists around a lot. I see menu voted him but then discovered he was probably town like I did. Is it just SelesnyaNewLife now? I think it might be.
That's fair, I'll be more direct. In my attempt to be polite I went a little too far. Overcorrect due to being new here, didn't want to give people a bad impression of me as a person and as someone who is overly aggressive and rude. I get that sometimes.
What I was trying to convey is that it is absurd that, out of about 2/3rds of the game posting, you nailed an entire scum team before day one is over using a single connecting threat. I don't know if you were being serious or were just stirring the pot. I don't know you, can't say, but it struck me as very arrogant, "look at me" town thing to do. So I said so. Instead of 'maybe you need', what I should have said is "read the game better, I am pretty sure you are town and if you keep posting bad logic all day I am going to need a stronger drink."
Well, I try my best not to be rude. I read your rules and it said somewhere in there to keep flaming away from the game. I didn't really change my language much, I just lost my patience a little bit. I am sorry that through 5 games in your mafia career you've been taught a generally cool demeanor and calm approach is "omg scum." It must suck.

People who name full scum teams based off a single thread that is... less than logically sound tend to be town. So I think BE is town, just perhaps needs to work on his ability to read the situation. At least in regards to me, if nothing else.
Menu I will say this about your first comment: I don't know people here. I don't know how they play mafia. I don't like being presumptive, but actually...I am not toying with anyone, this is about as neutral as I get. I have discovered in the past that brashness in new communities isn't well met, and for good reason. What you've seen me do before is me at height of comfort. I am actually fairly moderate outside of board 8.
Menu you've given no thoughts on 120, give or take, posts of mostly content. While you may think this is acceptable I think you should at the least weigh in a little bit instead of handing out silly threats to people who are, all in all, objectively correct that you should be doing more. And I do not often say objective in mafia.
Plum while I see a point about Wildfire, obviously, I don't like that reasoning as having much basis. If we judge people on number of games played then we don't really know much. Feels like you're buddying up to Dels for no reason. I stopped my pursuit mostly to give Wildfire a chance to one on one a bit without feeling teamed up upon, your interjection says nothing other than "Man you're newer in this game, how dare you have confidence."

Hi Hunger just a quick question what are your thoughts on me? I only ask because you mentioned every other person who has posted a fair amount except for myself, did nothing I say jump out or did you simply feel it would retread old ground?
This is NOT the town B_E that I've played with before. From his first few posts, I've got a strong sense that he's not used to playing scum, and thinks that he can seem town by looking like he's on the hunt for scum early on. It's very forced.

Interesting. Could you go back and look at post 44 of this topic and tell me what you think of it? I stated there that I was town in my discussion with BE. Given your current stance about I think vs I know, I would have thought my strong stand about my alignment and why it meant I wasn't lying would have struck a cord with you.
I am going to quote a sentence you just said, and tell you why I find it troubling:

If you are town, I would sincerely expect you to say "I know you're mistaken." Instead you say, "I think you're mistaken." Now if I had voted for another player your thought processes would be of value and certainly welcomed, but because I voted for you it looks troubling. As if you fumbled over yourself trying to sound "right." What do you think of this observation I have made about that?
I do wonder how natural a reaction it is to compliment someone when they vote you. That is a bit slick feeling. I'll stick with my vote for now and see where this goes. I always tend to worry when someone who I vote compliments me.
But I didn't defend you, Dels. I just attacked his approach. I would have thought you would have had something to share in terms of disagreement with the claims themselves. While I want to see how he posts about this, I'd also like to hear you respond about what he brought up. Also I kind of got the sense you did parrot my previous post, more or less. Not the words but certainly the point.
