By the way, that was probably a poor use of either way. Because if my current working theory pans out, and you're both scum, well...I think I've got several members of town who would think that was very nice indeed.

It's funny, you have more of an attack for my lining up of lynches, a neutral infraction which is probably not always welcome, but when I directly attack your post earlier you had no refute for me. Stick to the general, the principle, don't let the opponent get too close. You consider yourself a mafia outboxer, Kaze? Hoping to catch me with a counter punch?

You use style over substance. I was interested in talking to you because I wanted to get a better sense of you. If Plum is scum and I succeed in lynching him you are a dead man. So I don't have to worry about you at all. Your "cool story bro" "salty" and hip use of the word "Awkward" might work on others, but I am afraid they do not cover up your lack of logic in your own defense nor your appalling lack of logic in regards to Plum, whom you only shut up against when it was brought up.

You're not the lynchpin of my current theory. You don't matter to me. I am sorry if you feel this is awkward, I could give you a gift basket.

I'm not sure. Never am day one. But you flunked the mock scenario I gave you quite badly. That's not a good indicator. That plus the fact that Kaze is doing his best impression of your scumbuddy doesn't help either. You tell me you were waiting on him for reasons, say it was due to fake claims which has been laid out, and then you finally do. It feels like a stall. Like town plum I'd expect to stick to his principles there. But I am trying not to build a case on just what I know of your previous work.

I thought "I have a scenario for you" and then followed by "Let's say I come to you." was clear It was a story. A story of a deal, but a story.

And you know what, you do you man. But I'm not your bro, and I don't give a crap about your vote or you. Do as wish.

    So, back to Mr. Plum.

There was no deal being offered. It was just a story.

I called him scummy because he didn't show his work. Nervous scum talk less. Don't want to slip up.

Also Plum has played just as long as Dels. Don't know if Kaze is aware of that fact.

Perhaps you can answer that last sentence, Wildfire. Since you have been allayed, how did you view that post where he could find no retort for me? Seemingly different than me and hey, outside views are always good.

Denied. A resolute response. You would go so far as to question Plum, calling him super awful, but when it comes time to back up empty words with actions you offer no retort and as a supposed member of town would rather be thought as a scumbuddy of his when you pointed out previous bad behavior rather than vote for him at all.

That doesn't add up. I think you screwed you up bad. And the worse news for you? That guy who spoke about me and 12 rounds was right. I'm kind of a bloodhound for this sort of thing.

So now that Kaze has failed himself, would anyone like to offer up a reasoning in his stead for his vote on dels over plum and then his wish to not discuss Plum except for "I have no retort." That usually means "Oh. I messed up" if my translation is good.

I have a scenario for you, Kaze.

Let's say I come to you with a deal. Currently I think you and Plum could be buddies, it makes sense. But I am more certain of Plum. You vote Plum, and if he flips scum, I'll know that I was just being paranoid. If you don't vote Plum and he flips scum, I have all of the evidence I need to lynch you next. Would you vote Plum then?

Do remember Blade, the days last longer here. I am not saying you have to overkill, just steady for day one.

For the... uninformed. Blade is a player who is horrid day one at reads, but gets better as days progress. He has lynched a lot of town as town in good faith on day 1s, and has grown jaded since then to the point of giving no effort. He does much the same as scum though.

    Steady effort Blade.

Blade, don't embarrass our mafia community. That's the last youtube link you post without giving real effort, or ask for a replacement.

Because town members look at the game and think.

Scum members look at the game and, while knowing who is scum, think and then pretend to scum hunt.

Ideally a town member's vote can be traced back to his logic in some way. I admit I am guilty of prodding and being indirect at times, but you spotted a bunch of stuff wrong with Plum, voted someone else, and now actually question why I have a problem with that? Okay. It's because by not following your "thought process" it makes you look scummy. What makes you look scummier is it seems you did it to someone who I think looks scummy as well. So you look like a scum buddy who had a decent case against a buddy and then voted for, probably, not a scum buddy.

    That's why it matters.

Is that "So?" an admission you had a stronger case to vote Plum or a curiosity of why I noted that your vote didn't seem to match your content? Former you're really bad scum, latter you're really bad at mafia. But uh, I thought that was scummy so I noted it.

Oh, jesus. How did I miss Hunger's big post until now. Does this site do something weird with posts?

My bad, it didn't pop up for me on my few refreshes. I'll try to tackle this.

Openly and honestly I admit I don't have much for you on Wizard. I can't recall the manner which he voted for you off the top of my head. Didn't catch my eye. I like your use of objectively when I just said I don't think anything in mafia is objective, that's kind of cool. Also I believe wording matters. For example when I said sum 0 I meant sum 0. I didn't mean 0. Words matter. I didn't mean to accuse that you said nothing, but rather the statements which you did added up to nothing when compiled. Ignoring your subjective view of what you think of the matter, can you see how I came to that conclusion based off the final paragraph or am I just off base here?

Also from my point of view scum can lie. So you saying "I already said my intent..." doesn't actually mean anything, from where I sit. I don't mean to attack here really, truly I am just prodding at this stage, but your word makes me feel less good than if we examined stuff a lot. I am prodding here, except with Plum who I think messed up. I slung from the hip a bit on you.

I questioned wildfire because he was in front of me and I wanted to. I will often skip around in games and sometimes miss posts. How I missed your big posts bewilders me, but it is what it is. I also like to read the game out of order whenever I can.

As for how I word things I will just say that I am a writer, and I do try my best to have things structured well. I can see why structure would be a solid scum tell, as scum is wanting to hide intent behind things. I am a bit differently normally, but we had a mafia game that is linked in the archive called Nice Mafia 2 I believe which should match up pretty well with this manner. Don't take my word for it, you can read one of my past games if it suits you, but otherwise I would expect this to not be an issue. ... The dots to the left are for me reading one sentence of your post and typing out all of that without reading the next. Well, offer stands.

Eh... overdone? I don't know. I like to make good first impressions. No I can see what you mean. I have several different writing styles, based off of what I am writing. And what you see sometimes is more formal writing. I know that's self-testimony but I did want to address it because it is a fair observation to make. I made a very bad impression on another mafia community last year by being aggressive and I regret it immensely. I don't like to repeat mistakes.

Hunger as a person I wanted to prod, I shall just ask: what do you make of my thoughts on Plum? Do they have merit? If not, why not?
