I am unlikely to give chris the twtbaw read he seems to feel he deserves, but i dont think i want to play in the mud with him any more

    Might shoot him idk yet

You are going to shoot me and when I flip town you are going to pray that the town collective gives you a pass and blames me.

    I hope they do not.

Wisp I don't know which post you are talking about.

Scum don't tend to claim scum. Some work is required.

Well, it kind of does though. If I can find 3 people who look worse than me and I am right about all of them then I don't have to die because town will have won the game.

    Simple, really.

I mean, town's first job is to not die in a flame of lynchers. I usually accomplish this by putting together a good amount of town reads and going from there but since that has not worked I will helpfully point out that for such a scary scum player my slot has been +ev for town quite solidly, even if indirectly.

Also you have done nothing to effect the game in any way other than be suspicious so not all of us succeed!

Me being wrong about Az didn't hurt town in any way. I didn't cost us a single thing. In fact, me being wrong was played in such a way and with such defiance that we got good town indications from players that were not there before. I was wrong about Az but I pursued it in such a way that invited people to make themselves present and to encourage takes. I like my play day one even if I wished I had read Az better.

Pretty much. It's really the slant of informed versus not informed, right? As scum I see a massive amount of town voting for him and go "welp, time to bus" because really it is the only viable move. By not bussing there and hoping to save him I only made people look good that were not myself or Az. Axel champed up. Fuwa got wagoned. Those are things that are good for town in the long run and something that should be avoided as scum. If you are going to have someone get a lot of votes on them day one the last thing you realistically want to do is try to save them by over extending yourself.

As town it is funny the more I thought about it the more I thought it made sense that Shadow was town regardless of Az's alignment due to wagon formations, so even though I was still defending someone who flipped scum I feel like I learned a lot by doing so. My read error cost town nothing.

What happened with you in GoT Mafia then?

    Did you misread my sentence?

But GoT I was hospitalized, if it makes you feel better.

Explain more on what you felt was one of the better pieces of info we learned from how you treated the Az wagon? And ftr, I don't feel like you've lacked contribution, but I certainly haven't seen much in the way of scumhunting or world building, especially toDay, which feels like a contrast to Hill House.

So, two people who I think really improved their standing in the game at large are Axel and Fuwa. Fuwa was just someone who was doing nothing but by forcing that train it really polarized their alignment in relation to Az. That being scum/scum seems kind of absurd to think about given the velocity of movement and also I have to believe Fuwa is the one that takes the fall there if it was scum/scum due to player reputation.

Axel's rage at me defending Fuwa is also a really, really good look given the wagons. Axel went from maybe playing the field to "oh man, he just went hard on defending Fuwa when it is very possible Fuwa could have died if he chose to vote them there as scum."

Other people I had feelings about one way or another, but those two developed only because I chose friction. Also because I suck and thought Az was town.

Cantripmancer I'll be honest, it isn't my fault that I have a very long track record of how I play the game. Like I want you to think about something. I am being told that Chris/Az is so confident that I wouldn't play good day one. Then you see how Az played and despite that a scum Chris never loses confidence.

It's like people are going through hoops to say I am scum. It really amazes me.

The scum read of the situation was not entirely based on the vig shot. I was already scum reading you for end of day, and I liked my meta of scum gaining a vig shot after scum was lynched and in fact still do think that'd be a neat way to reduce the swing of the game. Especially given that you have this "it is better early" mentality but apparently didn't think to use it yestrerday for the epic reads. So yeah, not a fake read.

What the **** are you talking about? Literally that was because everyone yelled at me and thus made me realize it was an unpopular opinion. Real read dude.

Also it is a killing role, not an information role. Shooting town hurts town. Lynching town hurts town. Dead town is bad for town. THE END. Period. You can't get dead town back. Give me watcher, tracker, cop, detective, any of those over a shot especially early game.

I am going to take a moment to say that Az was not playing nearly good enough for me not to bus him as scum.

I mean really at this point I am just insulted for scum Chris. He's won multiple awards you know.

Tbh I have given a lot of content and I don't respond well to bull***** pressure. If you think votes are going to make me suddenly care more it is the opposite, I'll just let you mislynch me and move on with my life. Really my only sin this game isn't my methods but some of my conclusions. My effort has been good as has my attitude, so I am not going to be upset with myself if I get pitchforked.

Of course shooting later is better than early, you have more information. In a game like this it is likely power will catch scum and if you don't reveal your shot day 2 you can shoot for sure scum on a later day or keep it in your pocket for when reads crystalize. Shooting later is so much better later that is disgusts me tht it is seen as "dumb" for me to believe otherwise. Having more information to aim at someone makes total sense.

As for your Vezok comment, Tom, it is something I would expect you to realize before going HAMMER TIME and not doing it. As town you actually care about it, as scum you fake that sentiment.

One thing I will say is if you shoot dkings and he flips scum I will have my suspicion of you vanish, because he has said a few things that have bothered me (especially as it relates to the viability of a fuwa shot but also how he seems to live in a 'assume fuwa is town world' for his reads on other people) so I will be interested to see if perhaps this is a giant misunderstanding.

Cantripmancer - I guess if you want to think I'd use that tactic to make people less interested in voting for him I'd do that. Honestly as his scum buddy at that point I might just claim masons with him or something if I am going to go through all of that trouble. I seek conflict in mafia, Az train was boring and if he was scum I thought to myself he isn't a threat and I always lean towards bad play being town until proven otherwise. I guess what is the problem here is people aren't understanding my mindset. To me, just like last game, it is harmless to rail against bad scum play because they die anyway. So I learn things about other people along the way. It is a reason why "fuwa is a good shot" pings me from dkings is because I felt that was one of the better pieces of information we learned by me being stubborn against Az. I have a good faith belief that me being against the Az lynch was better for town in the long run than me being for it. All I care about is town's success, even if I apparently look like a horrible player in the process. My WIM may drained, but I still care about town.

Grapefruit - My read on you is "Az probably didn't instantly call his buddy super town." I didn't like some interactions with rhand day one but Az's play being not so great indicates that read on you makes you town until further notice.

I have said this to you before, Cantripmancer.

I am not a man who tries to catch the bad, obvious scum. Two games in a row it has been proven I don't need my eyes set there, other people got that covered!

Also I wonder how people justify me saying that to Az as scum/scum, Wisp. Why is that scummy? What would possess me to defend my scum buddy with "I know you haven't said everything" it is just... I am legitimately confused what I am being accused of half the time.
You really don't see why your "guess" that Az hadn't disclosed all of his role feels like TMI?

Do me a favor: pretend that I was the one who asked Az that question and that Az's 990 was directed at me. Break that response down. Especially knowing that Az is scum, what is scum!Az doing with that response?

TMI there dictates that I vote him for it. TMI is making correct assumptions with scum knowledge. So if Beeboy is town me hopping on him being town early is at least a valid TMI thought because it is a possibility. Me saying something while defending a scum and calling it TMI just makes no sense.

Also I would read basically no one as scum for what I said there because I don't think scum use that as a tact to defend their heavily suspected buddy.
