Not to mention all our fetchlands, Shocks, Mana Confluence, City of Brass, Painlands (If you run them), Horizon lands (if you run them), Necropotence and so much more, also draw us cards.
Our deck does a good job in hurting us, might as well provide gas now.
But the new Kaalia's power level is pretty low compared to our current Kaalia.
Imo the gap is quite big.
Do you think its worth slotting new kaalia into our 99 as a way to find our ADDs? theoretically we should always put 1 into hand.
And in our colors, card selection is not often found
Yes! I was also thinking of putting Restoration Angel back in.
We can use it to re-use the new Kaalia's ETB trigger as well as Rune-Scarred Demon (Realizing now that I don't run many Demons and Dragons with ETB abilities)
My current Creature suite is as follows (for multiplayer)
but the problem is that it costs 3CMC.
Which means Kaalia will be coming in at Turn 4 (maybe with haste if we have Greave or Dragon Tempest) - This is something we achieve already with consistency by dropping a Turn 2 Rock ---> Turn 3 haste enabler.
So the only reason we would run this is if we are somehow looking to be even more consistent with a Turn 4 Kaalia with haste.
Btw the Kor Mother of Runes sadly does not protect herself, which also imo just slightly does not make the cut
Ofcourse, I agree when its Cedh against Timmy decks. I initially thought this as well.
now I have 2 cedh decks and I honestly enjoy them quite a bit when and if the table is right (all 4 players playing cedh decks).
Theres a nuance to playing your spells on the right time/moment and when to attack/block or when to counter.
OMG - Royal Assassin bring up very old and good memories
I used to play it with Master Decoy
Sadly in my playgroup, even my Kaalia is considered not a threat due to CEDH influence of Hulk, Food Chain and Paradox Scepter combos.
I bring her out against 75% and I am still doing decent.
NICE, glad to hear you had such a nice game.
Forking any X spell when it was cast for more than 5 feels so good and most people dont see it coming from a non blue deck.
Btw, I'm sure it has been discussed before but what are your thoughts on Rakdos, Lord of Riots?
Is it too hard to cast without Kaalia? which means it mostly a win more card because if you can only cast it via Kaalia, u normally prefer to cast one of your game enders.
VERY unique decision to build a full white border Kaalia.
Is it running well? You lose a lot of more recent and the better ADDs. But running cards like Serra Angel and [card}Shivan Dragon[/card] must feel nostalgic.
I got the idea to run Fire Covenant from you and I run it in all the decks tthat can run it.
Instant speed kill all your dorks really affects the board in our favor.
Baseline is your toned down deck right? Im glad its working well.
And what luck to have a fellow mtg player as a coworker.

This dragon has the problem of costing RRR
Though a reanimator package and sneak attack would help this card's inclusion.

But why is it tacked on an etb trigger... but as long as we run 22+ ADDs, we should be able to get one into hand.
EDITE: If it was an activated ability
WBR: Look at top six...
I would be super excited

love both 75% and CEDH quite the same.

Though in my personal playgroup, Kaalia is not the threat it used to be; finally they have learned to target the flash hulk player instead of me.
Do you run any other commanders besides Kaalia and Alesha?

Such a good card.
