yesterday in sealed deck, my opponent tried putting heart of light on a creature of mine. I Aura Grafted it to my Wall of Air and later my opponent put Pariah on it! I couldnt win then cause I had no way of getting rid of it.
Well, I sent an e-mail yesterday late at night (I did NOT receive a brain, BTW (how funny can that sound?(yup, parentheses inside parentheses))), and still haven't got a response. I guess the Mastermind doesn't answer mails in weekends, aye?
It's good for burn because it is reuseable, uncounterable, and prevents you from stalling out and having your opponent stabilizing. The point of the card is that your hand has to be empty, so you may not have anything better to do with that two mana at the time. You play whatever spell you draw, then get an extra damage in.
Adding to that, burn decks run out of gas (cards in hand) extremely fast, and if they have not won by then, will stall every turn they don't have a burn spell. So this land is a good addition to keep pushing some damage until that orcish librarian comes and orders your draws.
Heh... Do you think they chose -on purpose- a card that can be transfigured by the other (or vice-versa, a card that would interact with the obvious legend to reveal today)?
<sinp>
So, using common sense, what can you glimpse from Sliver Legion? Only that WotC is changing the way they refer to creatures, not making Sliver a supertype.
< more snipping>
Only one thing regarding this: this would mean they'd have to do (again) a massive gatherer update. Because, for instance, D-storm would say now "Search your library for a Dragon creature card and put it into play. Then shuffle your library."
Right?
I'm with his snow idea. It sounds like something too compotent for wizards to do, though.
Not exactly my idea, the OP posted it before (though I had thought of it before reading the post).

Coldsnap’s snow mana I thought was a get tech. But I would of like to see cards that could only be casts with t snow mana.
Just stating that to avoid some flames.
And, I actually do not think Wizards or R&D incompetent to do it, just that if they do it they mess with the game retroactively. As in, hey, new color, let's mess wih the perfect pentagon (PP!!) to make space for it!! and that wouldn't be too clever.
This is just my thoughts on who WotC could do a sixth color and not be to stupid.
Contradiction'd
Seconded'd.
Just to add something to the thread, I also would've liked to see some spells that could only be cast with snow mana (to give a little more use to the fancy snSwflake mana symbol) and to give a "real" 6th color without messing with the color pie by adding Purple, which as Phoenix stated before, wouldn't be too clever on the game's fundamentals.
The picture with the runes reminds me of Read the Runes, just because it's someone kneeling by some runes. But that's probably not what it is. I hope to god that they don't print a Magus of the Arena right after reprinting Arena. And also because it would make it one of the crappier magus's.
NOt to dissapoint you, but that's exactly what it looks like to me. The ground looks exactly like that in Arena. Check it!
Well, you do that on one of your own creatures (putting both pariah and heart of light) and you get a Cho-Manno/Pariah one-rare combo.
rites of flourishing + flagstones of trokair + a deck s**t-full of plains...
Can you guys see what's behind me?
Yeah, give it a try. According to the previous posts, almost everybody (even if they did not receive a brain, heh) gets a reply. I haven't, yet.

THere's one thing that still makes me wonder: Aren't these cards actually named 'planeshifted', instead of timeshifted? It would make sense...

Remember there are 14 hits for land too.
well that's less hilarious than I thought.
