Haven't read the whole thread so forgive me if someone already mentioned this.
Flavor wise, looks like an Eternal is whatever those worthy champion mummies are being converted to behind that door; they're being Eternalized. I'd guess whatever it does it for sure adds the type zombie, so most likely a sort of mega-embalm.
Hey fellow gizmo-mancers,
First of all thanks to OP, I wasn't aware how much raw power this deck could have until I read this thread.
Secondly, has Brutal Expulsion been considered? Has that rare line shared with Mindbreak Trap and Venser that allows it dealing with uncounterable spells, plus the whole colorless thing. Our favorite Dragon Wizard is one of the few commanders privileged with its use.
Hello here,
I'd like to start ttading through mtgsalvation after several years of not doing so. Currently located in Toronto, I wanted to know of any locals that send from here, and which shipping options they prefer, and why those?
Okay, any of the previous posters mind telling where in Canada you found these? I'm in the Toronto Area and in one of the 3 Walmarts nearby they had nothing of the sort. I haven't gone to the other two.
People, it ain't that hard. Of all the Planeswalkers present during the Time Spiral Block, only Teferi survived. Literally every other oldwalker had to sacrifice themselves (or someone else) to seal the rifts. Jeska, Lord Windgrace, Freyalise, Leshrac, all perished. They shouldn't be back. If they are, it's a huge continuity error.
You could argue for Radha as she was similar to Venser, but it is implied that her essence was spent by Jeska to close another rift (althought she survived). We already know Bolas is kickin' around.
That movie is a national treasure though. I've gotten so much enjoyment out of it.
"So bad it's good", I get it. I wouldn't want that for our beloved card game, though. Not sure how many of the current fan base would be happy with that. Movies are very resonant culture-wise and could leave a sort of stigma over the players if not handled correctly.
The first Magic books were pretty solid if anyone read them or remembers. <snip>
They would make good movies.
It's not that the source material is not good enough to provide with worthy stories. It worries me that having the capability of including the still active creators of the source material so far they have not announced that they would do so. You don't see Jarvis or Beyer or Forsythe or Dommermuth among names, not even a "creative source is being approached for consultation" or anything of the sort.
I'd personally love a movie with the Agents of Artifice storyline. It's well rounded and ripe to be adapted, if done correctly. It could be a good introduction to several characters.
Seeing as production does not consider an idea (not even good or bad, not even an idea) to include someone from the actual MTG creative team on board, this will not end well.
Pretty much the question in the title. I'm headed to the York/Ontario area for a couple of weeks at the end of August and was wondering where I can get some product. I'm interested in bringing some stuff back home from there.
But we're still talking about slot 207 (after Hannah)?

Personally I'd love Agents of Artifice (lots of exposition and Ravnica) and this:
