Quote from Varyag »In my area, there are two things that keep modern from growing. One is price and the other is the ban-hammer. We had 3 delver players and 3 pod players and they got hated out of the game overnight and now want nothing to do with the format. When you have ~15 players this is an issue.
As for price, at this point everyone has said their piece, but ultimately its out of our hands. Whatever trend MM2 starts is probably exactly what to expect of MM3, 4 etc. I don't know how representative Tarmogoyf is as its been painted as a chase card and something special. I'm much more interested to see how the price of Karn Liberated behaves. At the moment he's at an unrealistic 40$ for a card used only in a single deck that sits at 2.29% of the meta.
Don't forget that Karn Liberated also goes in nearly 100% of EDH decks. That's kind of relevant to its price, lol.

Artifacts as a theme can go towards WUBR, because other than a few cards from cards, green has no synergies when it comes to artifacts that you control.
Though you mentioned it under Convoke, tokens can be a theme to go under BRGW.
Reanimator could go into either GWUB or BRGW, but overall. I'd probably give it to BRGW for Daretti, Scrap Savant and Feldon of the Third Path alone.

This, from what I understand, is breaking the rules, and if they had been doing it in this instance, I could understand in the state of rewinding, or issuing a warning/DQ as the situation warrants.
This is all moot though because, as others have kindly pointed out, nothing was likely to be exiled by Hixus anyway because the damage could be dealt to the player who didn't control Hixus.

Legendary Creature - Horror
Flying, Lifelink
4B or T: Exile target creature. This ability can be activated from the command zone. (Permanents can only be tapped if they are on the battlefield)
Kastias gets +3/+3 for each creature in exile.
2/2
Next: A RGW equipment commander

I can at least verify that if Kaalia dies enough times, and she definitely will, you're better off just hardcasting your creatures. Commander tax can delay a commander enough to basically be the same as tucking, it just needs to grow past the game state. I will concede that Uril is pretty difficult to get rid of otherwise. At least Wizards has been making ways for Hexproof hate easier on people.
I'm kinda glad for simplicity reasons, because I sleeve my commanders in different sleeves from the rest of the deck, so it's problematic shuffling it in there. Otherwise, I didn't really care if the rule sticks or not as I don't don't necessarily need my Commanders for my decks to run, but they do great work when I do use them.

Just more stuff to add for blue's ever expanding portion of the color pie.

Is said deck using Equipment or Auras? The reason I ask is because this idea seems really cool.
