Agent of Treachery is great when their planeswalker is about to ult. Also, while the new Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider is good with planeswalkers, his second ability is good against them as well. Finally, as Cranky said earlier, planeswalkers fold to aggression.

In a game against my friends Trostoni deck last night playing Riku, I got 35 Primal Wellsprings, I had 6,144 Avenger of Zendikar, 1,038,336 plant tokens, and those plants had at minimum 79,872 +1/+1 counters on them. This would have totaled 82,933,972,992 damage from the plants alone. There's more details to this, but most of this story was a copy+paste of what I sent my friend on facebook.

Nacatl War-Pride is a warrior that loves extra combat phases. Warchief Giant could be good too, but you lose the tokens after each combat, so not as good as the Warpride. Helm of the Host for maximum Warrior and Combat value!

If they were to remove the Reserved list, it would be better if the cards had updated art and borders. This would leave the older cards to retain some value, even with the reprint. Again, IF.

This card should be easy to transform in Breya, as you can just activate the ability on one of her tokens, then sac it and the second token to her ability. You get immediately refunded the mana from activating Breya, and you'll have more tokens for her later if 4/4's aren't good enough.

In general, as you cast a modal double-faced card, you can cast either face (not: side) of that card, and "[o]nly the face that will be face up on the stack is evaluated to determine if it can be cast" (C.R. 711.7, 711.7a). Thus, for example—

• you can cast the back face of that card with Jace without paying its mana cost, if you exiled it with Jace's last ability, and
• you can cast the back face of that card without paying its mana cost with Omniscience if the card is in your hand.

And in general, you can cast Tibalt, Cosmic Impostor (the back face of Valki) with Jace's last ability or Omniscience without paying its mana cost.

However, an effect can allow you to cast only spells of certain kinds in a special way. One example is the recent rule change to cascade, where you can cast a card with cascade only if "the resulting spell's converted mana cost is less than" that of the spell with cascade (C.R. 702.84a); see this thread. Another example is Kari Zev's Expertise; see this thread.

Thus, with Kari Zev's Expertise or Bloodbraid Elf's cascade ability, you can't cast the Tibalt face, since that face's converted mana cost is too high in either case.

With abilities like that, no wonder there is suddenly a shortage on Chain of Smog.

So what you’re saying is that you want to use one bad aura and one that you should be saving for removal to do the work of a single Opalescence or Starfield of Nyx? Mirror Gallery and Sakashima of a Thousand Faces both turn off the legend rule so you can clone it in more traditional ways like Copy Enchantment, Mirrormade, or Clever Impersonator.

The world tree spans across all 10 realms. So drawing power from multiple trees makes sense. I could see an argument either way though.

I was still expecting them to be indestructible, but I was also expecting a Ragnarok type of board wipe that could get around the Gods being indestructible. Gods dying to just... well anything... is a bit of a letdown, even though the card is cool.

So beyond just being careful with MTG cards a lot of players have EDH / Commander decks. If you're five color and you have one of each ABU Dual Land, one of each Fetch Land, and you know Gaea's Cradle and a few other cards particularly those that are highly played in Legacy and Modern, it isn't hard for the monetary value of your EDH / Commander deck to go over $10,000+. So that's crazy, imagine carrying a briefcase with $10,000+ in physical cash with you to a shady Local Game Store (LGS) and you wonder why the need for running proxies in EDH / Commander is now more important than ever to reduce the high risk of theft. Now it might seem unethical at first on the aspect of the principle of "Pay to Win" or "Pay to Play" (no pun intended) but you sort of get the idea of what I'm getting at here. I don't have a problem with players within my playgroup running proxies of expensive cards they actually own in their personal card collections and for those who fully proxy their decks due to the barrier of entry for the format being extraordinarily high right now due to the ongoing pandemic, I honestly don't blame them for it.

One of my friends runs alters of ABU Dual Lands including a lot of the fast mana rocks like Mana Vault, Mana Crypt, and Mox Diamond because the overall power creep of the format is demanding it now more than ever. There's simply not enough supply to meet the demand of much needed reprints in the format to help circumvent the cost to play If you're being pressured to keep up with cEDH decks where it seems as though the format is morphing into something that's no longer what we would perceive to be as "kitchen table casual". If your deck isn't able to stop one of your opponents from winning on turn 5 or earlier especially since you'll be tapped out on lands most of the time then that cuts you off from being able to actually play the game and this is why proxies can make the difference between needing the cards necessary to stop those scenarios from occurring instead of creating a massive paywall to actually get there. It's got less to do with the EDH Rules Committee fixing this problem when the design team at Wizards of the Coast are purposely increasing the speed of the format just to sell more product.
