Lots of stuff has been said between now, and the second and 3rd post of this thread... but these too comments have irked the hell out of me for a day now.
People, want red to do "un-red" things because the color pie is unbalanced...
So basically you're going to hear that because red needs another slice. They're really good at doing 1 think *damage, but bad at everything else, extremely limiting for a color. Playable acceleration is in green, and red gets burst acceleration, but too good burst acceleration gets to be combo engines... and Red Land D is poo-poo'ed as a concept by too many people to expect to have a good spell much less a great 1.
So yeah expect people to want red to do "new" and exiting things especially since ALL the colors get some kind of card advantage standard (Standard being the future of match is some ways) being the color dominated by value and most people playing that format people want diversity in the color pie.

4 pages, and her and The Mimeoplasm hasn't been mentioned? Soooo much card draw, and, commander damage if playing EDH and that's if she's by herself. With other creatures in play, she'll end the game, or get hated of the table.

So, lets make sure I have this right. In order to Cast Rakdos, you have to have had your oppenet lose life this turn, not take damage. IE, Drain Life or so forth.

Damage causes loss of life. You can damage, or use life loss effects to play Rakdos.
I was wondering if someone could make rendered versions of the m13 Ajani in the full-art style I asked for before, and this style, each using Ajani's m13 art.
I'm going to ask for full art versions of the 2 new planeswalkers from "Avacyn Restored", where it's only art and the loyalty costs of the planeswalkers.

On the card the first thing I thought was Woolly Thoctar, like the_fish said, it's just easier to play the Thoctar. Although it would be a nice addition to standard. It's probably a common, too
My problem with buying from local stores is the fact that they ALL base their prices on those very same online retailers who do these profiteering tactics.
