I'd say stop it if I weren't able to run everything in this deck. I'd play a deck like this but I've never been in the 'mana ramp' mindset. I'm one of those players that tries to be excessively fast. HOWEVER - This deck is quite nice. (Or should I say decks)

Greetings human! This is my first time doing a review thing like this but I'll give it a go.

I like this deck. (I, myself, plan to get Archangel Avacyn) However; I don't see the reason to splash in blue. That said, Reflector Mage is an amazing card. I just wouldn't splash in a third color for it. (My belief may be due to the fact that nearly every deck I do except for EDH is 2 colors)

Other than my pickiness, this deck seems pretty solid. It seems a little slow to me but I tend to play fast decks. Although, considering the fact most cards are 3-4 mana in the deck would it be safe to assume this is a 'midrange' deck? (Still learning terms despite the fact I've played for 6 years.)

I look forward to seeing the remake of it once SoI is released. I'll be editing my R/W equipment deck with several cards from the set.

Finally, it appears you wish to know which cards between Avacyn, Eerie Interlude, Pick the Brain, and Anguished Unmaking are more valued.
I would personally rate the cards something like this in rank
    1 - Anguished Unmaking
    2 - Avacyn
    3 - Pick the Brain
4 - Eerie Interlude (I'd throw that in a sideboard without hesitation)

  • posted a message on R/W Allies/Equipment Deck. (Also first time in Standard since M13) Suggestions are quite welcomed
    So.

Ladies, Gentlemen, Eldrazi, I have decided to start standard again. Mostly because I want to get a binder full of the shiny FNM foils (I like to think of them as trophies) Oh yeah, and my favorite plane is coming back in the form of Shadows Over Innistrad. Anyways, here's what I came up with.

    CREATURE THINGS
    4X Stone Haven Outfitter
    4X Expedition Envoy
    4X Stoneforge Acolyte
    4X Weapons Trainer
    4X Reckless Bushwhacker
    3X Firemantle Mage
    3X Lantern Scout

    EQUIPMENT/ARMOR/WEAPON THINGS
    4X Bone Saw (is ready)
    4X Captain's Claws
    4X Stoneforge Masterwork

    LAND THINGS
    4X Ally Encampment
    4X Battlefield Forge
2X Needle Spires (Not sure how I like this)
    7X Plains
5X Arabian Nights Mountain (If only)

    60 Cards

From what I've played so far (I've done about 10 games with it for testing) the Stoneforge Acolyte is a little useless. Even though it's a good effect this is supposed to be an aggro deck. I think I want to remove it for some removal but not sure what.

    Also. Sideboard.
Not sure how to do this. I'm assuming some cards to take care of flyers. Some for dealing with enchantments/artifacts. Any suggestions? (I've never used one.)

Finally, my reason for doing this deck - I like themed decks and I hate Eldrazi. Therefore Allies with Equipment seemed fun. (My first time with this kind of deck)

My first EDH deck was with my main man Nath, whom is now in 3 sleeves and is used as a book mark. I play for fun as well as competition. (I have a Cephalid deck in the works and intend to do an Atog EDH deck)It's great winning with these kinds of decks against tryhards that put hundreds into their decks. Their reactions are priceless.

Greetings inhabitants of the forums. I have decided to start a new EDH deck. I try to be unique in my group and was for a long while with my colorless EDH deck. And then the new block dropped and like half our players are making colorless EDH decks . . . That happened . . . So anyways - I've decided to go back into attempting something I tried long ago. A Cephalid EDH deck. They've always been my favorite creature type so I want to make them work. That said; I've never done a Blue EDH deck (I have an Azorius one.)

My general will of course be Aboshan. Then I will have the other 14 cephalids.(Maybe not the Aristocrat or the Illusionist . . .)

Then, the next obvious step after those 12 or 14 cards will be to use every. single. Kraken. (I like to think of them as the papa Cephalids) That said, I can't use The Risen Deep.

That brings me to 22 or 24 cards. Then Lorthos comes in because he's like the great Papa Kraken even though he's an octopus for some reason.

That brings me to 23 or 25 cards (All creatures at this point) Then; After that I'm stumped. Should I go for a bunch of board control and mana ramp spells? That seems like the next logical step. I'm also not sure on what other creatures to add so maybe some fish to represent the random things swimming around in the waters? (If you haven't noticed yet I like to heavily theme my decks.)
