A bit late, but here's the list that I used to win Eternal Masters in Melbourne on the 7th. (67 players, which is Australia's largest Legacy event to date)
I went 5-1-1 in the Swiss, and won 2-1/2-1/2-0 in the quarters/semis/finals. I'm currently writing up a report for this, which should be ready in a few days. The top-8 matches I played were recorded, and should be on this twitch stream from 4:35:00, so everyone can see my brutal ****-ups.
Yea. Same thing happened with Blood Moon. $50+ for a sideboard card that was $9 less than a month ago is insane. There are certainly people out there that have the capital to corner the market on select cards. From what I understand many of them work as a coop to corner several cards at once.
I'll bite. Blood Moon hasn't been that cheap since Feb 2014. About a month ago, they were 20-25.
Pricing on them still sucks though, I wouldn't mind a 4th for Skred Red.
Those who want to play in the June event, sign-ups are now open. I plan on starting this on June 2nd, with sign-ups due by 6pm AEST June 2nd. Timezone calculator for reference.
Client will most likely be Cockatrice, as I don't have any experience with XMage.
Matches must be finished within a week, for ease of tournament flow.
Decklists should be submitted to me via PM, and deck codes must be submitted to this thread by the June 2nd deadline.
Okay, but my issue wasn't whether paper is in fact biodegradable(it's common knowledge), but whether people will actually recycle when given the push from wizards. Nevertheless, my main concern is that the $3 increase, and the subsequent 3 euro increase was definitely far more than what the increase on the pack's producing cost was. THAT was therefore, the profit increase scheme. I'm sorry I wasn't clear on that.
That's what's stopping me from drafting in Australia. $50/draft is too rich for my tastes. (Store is selling boxes at around $380, and boosters at $16/per)
I take the games 2-0. Both were great and close games, I just managed to draw my outs to close out the game. If the game had gone on for another turn game 2 and I'd have never had a chance to win, so I got lucky there.
Confirmed.
Game 2 was anyone's game, although if I topdecked well enough in one of the last two turns, then I would have stabilised in time.
Yes me too, the Server Cocka crashed.
Anyway i was way too far behind on game 2.
So its 2:0 for Speedbump.
Well played Mate.
I don't think I was that far ahead, especially if my win conditions weren't on the board in two turns time. I don't think either of us want to play a game 3.
Cheers for the games, and sorry for the type of deck you had to play against.

The list itself is reasonably similar to Yusuke Shimuzu's list that he used to qualify for GP Kyoto, with some changes that I made to suit the Melbourne meta. (More Miracles, and less need for Red Elemental Blast.)

I'll hold this off until we can get to 8.
I can set up a Legacy one in the Legacy thread, but I'm pretty terrible at setting up an opening thread.

Most likely tournament mode is round robin, as the number of entrants looks like a small amount this time of year.

Also tempted for a Legacy one, if there's enough people for it.
Hopefully I can get the better of you next time!

Well played to yourself too.
EDIT: Client kicked everyone off while in the middle of Game 2. I was 1-0 up.
