So, why she tried to/"stole" krakens, leviathans and stuff "from Thassa" instead of just "petting" them for a while and then getting out with the capacity of summoning Thero's monsters?
You don't really need to splash white for protection, khans give us Stubborn Denial. It's cheap, so, if Flamespeaker Adept is still a 2/3, you probably have mana to pump her up.
I know it isn't part of the theme, but, this is a tempo deck, Goblin Rabblemaster is probably just better than some of thematic cards of the deck.
Cut Preeminent Captain. Really, Anafenza won't trigger her first ability, Brimaz won't be able to trigger both of his abilities for one turn, it can't be tapped to be buffed with Anafenza, AND, the problem of this deck is that it has too many 3 drops. Bring Anafenza down to 3, her cost is a drawback, and you don't want to draw multiples in a midrange matchup.
As for "no fetchlands in 2015," I hightly doubt it. Fall 2015 is most likely going to be a "return" set and "Return to Zendikar" would sell so many boxes they wouldn't even need to print a second and third set. If that doesn't happen Modern Masters 2 could some around to eat everyone's bank account.
I thought it was a comment from something like an year ago. This guy, don't be this guy.
You're in a site that have spoilers. Why don't you check then? I mean, you don't need to listen to MaRo's entire speech at Comic Con, nor you do need to enter the spoiler page. You just need to read the name of the set spoiled.
Sadly, with so many 1 ofs, you'll hardly ever be synergistic. Packleader and Soul will never be allowed to do anything together, especially while this standard is still fast and removal heavy.
There's a reason why you're allowed up to 4 of a single card as well as a separate format for singletons. They just don't go together unless you enjoy losing every game.
I mean, I see what you're going for, I do, but some of the singletons are absolute worthless; why have one Karametra's Acolyte when you can have one more Polukranos or a Scavenging Ooze?
Do you know what Toolbox means? Did you ever saw Birthing Pod decks? It's the same baseline. Of course it won't work so well like Pod, this guy is trying.
Guys, what do you think about Soul of New Phyrexia? I found that it's pretty nice in any tron deck, but especially in Gift ones. Why? Even if it goes to the grave, you still have the ability of protecting your lands, Wurmcoils, and stuff.
Your opponent automatically chooses Trading Post, if he/she don't, you get all your stuff back. If you still don't have the 3 Urza's land, he will choose one and you got no deal further than tutoring 2 win cons (which stills cool).
BUT, now the thing gets interesting, if you already have the Tron online, he will need to choose between Wurmcoil or Soul. If soul goes to grave, you can protect your lands and wurmcoil for one more turn (your opponent probably won't have enough [removal/land hate] to deal with [Wurmcoil Engine two times + the tokens/your lands producing tons of mana] for two more turns). If Soul of New Phyrexia ends in your hand, next turn, you can cast it and use it's ability if needed (7 mana of tron, +3 of the new Tower, and you casted gits, so I assume you have a blue land too, 11 mana).
Profit in both cases. And it isn't a goldfish situation, you just had Tron and casted gits. That all what happened.
They are the 3 best UB enchantments, I would consider them, as philosifer said.
It's confusing me a bit.

And we could call her Rainbowdash! I mean, Pegasus... Centaur... Stuff?

No one tried Keranos yet?

Imagine the pile:
1: Trading Post.
2: Wurmcoil Engine.
3: Soul of New Phyrexia.
4: Urza's Tower or a missing land for accomplishing the Tron.

This' the same thing as saying that Lily is bad because she have synergy with Lingering Souls. Just wanted to mention this.
