I'm pretty sure you have 1 to many cards in your deck list. After testing the deck quite a bit, it definitely needs more artifact/enchantment removal. It just can't do much against a deck that runs a lot of that. There is ALOT of ramp. Almost to much. Do you want that many lands? I understand its a landfall esc deck but its a lot. Love the deck though.
Love the deck man. This should definitely be a primer. Season's past still shows in the deck list though. While Splendid Reclamation is not in the list. Keep it up man!
Very cool primer I can't believe I hadn't seen this before. Fantastic work! What cards would you want to add? Cards that you currently would have in the deck if you could afford them? That would be a nice addition to the primer.
A few suggestions:
I feel like not having a Counterspell is a little strange compared to the ones your using now. Ancient Tomb is just a better version of Temple. Mana Confluence and City of Brass are just better then 2 of your basics. Life is a resource and when you have 40 life, especially in this deck you should use it as such. Opal Palace may not be the greatest but I've never tried so I'll have to give that a shot sometime.
No Path to Exile?
Love the primer man but why no tutors? Vampiric Tutor and Demonic Tutor especially. I don't see any Sylvan library or Bloom Tender. They both go in almost any green deck ever. Is there an exclusions section to the primer? I may have missed it. That would be helpful!
Love the primer Xaios. Im surprised I don't see Bain of Progress. Especially with all the tutors its so, so good. I find it really helps me in ALOT of situations. Have you given him a try?

Mystic confluence for Chaos Warp definitely! Its such a nutty card. Mizzix's Mastery has to go in. I've been playing with it and its another auto win pretty much. I'd probably cut Recoup for it like you mentioned earlier. Memory Jar for Mindmoil I fully support as well. Mindmoil got there sometimes but I feel Memory Jar is more consistent and just helpful.
I've never liked Helm of Awakening as I've never ever needed it and it just helps out my opponents. Been running a mana rock in its place.
The other changes you mentioned you might try I was not to fond of. Those are just my preferences though. I didn't like cutting down the great wheels like Reforge the Soul for something like Tezzeret the Seeker either.
This is my competitive Karametra build. It is meant to strike hard and fast and end games quickly with the obvious finisher being Craterhoof Behemoth or Mirror Entity. I may need to add more Overrun effects. Below is an extensive list of cards that could very well be added into the deck. There are too many good cards to choose from.
The new Chandra, Flamecaller seems interesting. Its a board wipe when we need it to be, or a repeatable wheel if we can keep her alive. Something I'm going to test for sure.
I'd love to play a 100% Niv Mizzet list but I don't because I know it would be to good for my playgroup. I don't run any curiosity combos but I keep the long game "going off combos" in there. Omniscience and all that. I honestly feel as a long game control kind of deck, that new Jori En, Ruin Diver would be better suited for it. Not to mention Jori En wont be hated out nearly as much. I say just stick with the more combo like list if Niv is going to be your commander in general as I haven't had much luck running it long game control as Niv still gets hated out. I'd still love to see Rowans list though. Maybe he's had some luck. I'm no deckbuilder.
After a lot of games I've gone back to the more combo like Niv-Mizzet list that you have posted on the front page. Unless you've been able to make it work with the changes you've made Rowan, that's what I'll be playing for now. Its quite difficult to win with 3+ opponents becoming more and more of a threat as the game goes on. Playing a longer control focused version is certainly cool but I win very few games now and I'm not even part of an extremely competitive meta. Maybe that's just me though.

Flagstones of Trokair is just a better plains. Unless you play against a lot of Blood Moon like effects.

Titania, Protector of Argoth is solid value with the added bonus of mass land destruction protection. I throw her in all my green decks now. I'd highly recommend giving her a try.
