I used to check starcity articles daily, and sometimes they were alright. But now that they've gone premium, the whole site has suffered, imo. This is a far better site.
well, it was fun to read a general overview of what to draft. We will have to wait and see if dimir is as good as you make it out to be. it looks to me that golgari is more solid...
I liked it. I can't find a copy of the card 'moggs are awesome' anywhere in my collection. Does anyone have one for trade? lol
I've been having difficulty fitting the white board into standard sized card sleeves.
No white lands? oh no! rofl
Something as random as this article is fun once in a while =)
I loved this article. It summarizes the well known T1 decks well. Thanks!
And I laughed at the decks not to play, haha. So true, although I keep wishing sui black could stand a chance. I guess it hasn't in years...oh well.
UW here is insane, I wish I'd opened that...
why not use the mistblade shinobi? you can bounce a spirit, and trigger the Teller or Baku again. Counsel of the Soratami doesn't really seem to be needed here.
I agree with the above post. I cringed when reading the statement in the article that the hand fit well into the curve with the cohort. Although I suppose you might have a starting hand with 2 swamps and no mountains, and then the hand of cruelty might make your deck more consistent. A deck like this would hate to mulligan. Overall I liked the article, I'm inspired to return to slightly more casual play and try something like this myself.
Overall I enjoyed reading this and would enjoy seeing more articles comparing other decks in extended.

Sounds cool, if you can make it work. Save me a slice of apple pie.
