Jan 18, 2007@ PurpleD: Thanks. I'm looking for some kind of inspiration or idea! Does anyone know of any good/challenging UB control decks currently in T2?Posted in: Retired Clan Threads
Jan 17, 2007Sorry to hear about your warnings and stuff guys. It is kind of stupid to give you warnings about those replies. This is real spamming.Posted in: Retired Clan Threads
Thanks for the compliment, Daftmouse!
EDIT: What do you guys think of the Dralnu du Louvre decks?
Jan 16, 2007Greetings Clan Mono-Black!Posted in: Retired Clan Threads
I'm from [House Dimir] and I have a question, since you are after all the Black Mages.
Any good black creature removal currently in T2? Yeh, I already know about Damnation.
I already asked at my clan, but I thought I'd get your opinion?
Jan 16, 2007@ PurpleD: Thanks a lot! I realise that you can't just have inactive members on the main list, so feel free to move me to the dungeon at any time you wish.Posted in: Retired Clan Threads
Name (first only): Chris, or Christiaan
Explaination of username: Well, I chose it a few years ago, when I got tired of my old alias. I actually derived it from the DC Comic hero, and later found out its connection to "Azazel" (the goat demon) and "Azrael" (the angel of death).
Grade: University/College 1st Year
Hobbies: Magic, Dungeons & Dragons, PC Games, anything fantasy.
About Me: I've loved UBC since it beat my ass for the first time, back in the day. The Time Spiral block looks like my fav one since the Torment set. Yeh, thats about it.
What I like about Salvation: Its a very good place to find advise on your decks, as well as social with other like-minded players.
Fave thread: The first [House Dimir] thread. Where it all began.
Favorite Card: Counterspell
What decks do I like to play: :symu::symb: Control first and foremost! Also :symw::symg: Agro/Control, :symb::symr: Agro/Control.
Politics/Philosophy: Do unto others before they do unto you.
Favourite Member(s): The first ones in [House Dimir].
Favourite Band(s): Draconian, Heaven Shall Burn.
Pseudonyms: Zael, Corpsehero™.
Hope you get/got to sleep in the end, PurpleD.
EDIT: What do you guys think of my new siggy?
Jan 16, 2007Welcome to MTG Salvation!!! Its good to see a veteran player in the forums!Posted in: Introduce Yourself
Glad to see your going to do your judge certification. Keep the game alive and bring in new sucke... players to up the prize support!!! WOOT!
When your reach 30 posts, feel free to drop in at House Dimir!
Hope you enjoy the site.
Jan 16, 2007Hello again everyone!!! Okay, so I just went for a driving lesson, since I'm going for my test on friday...Posted in: Retired Clan Threads
Anyway, the clan's numbers are diminishing!!! I've got a suggestion to make. How about we drop the "30 posts" requirement, just for a while. Then go to the Introduce Yourself thread, get some new members, until we have our numbers up again. Then, we can put the "30 posts" rule up again, drop inactive members, and keep the active ones. Just a suggestion...
@ PurpleD: I know its going to be very difficult for me to remain an active member, from friday onwards (since I'm moving out), but please can we arrange anything on the members' list. Not necessarily a "real member", but something other than the Dungeon.
Okay, if we actually decided to recruit new members, I'll go and post on every damn newbie's thread. Maybe even make a cool "Join Dimir if you ever want to see your parents again" banner?
By the way, I see that the Bore-us aren't alive anymore. What happened there? I'm actually thinking about playing Pink Weenie!!! (Oh god, whats wrong with me?!?!), but still :symu::symb:CONTROL main deck.
Jan 15, 2007Yeh, I see what you mean with Dragonstorm. That could suck a lot. I mean cards like Spellbook aren't as good with Dragonstorm if you considder Arcane Rings, which will lower the cost by as well as give it Storm +1. Point taken.Posted in: Custom Card Creation
Thanks for the comment.
Jan 15, 2007Arcane RingsPosted in: Custom Card Creation
:symtap:, Sacrifice Arcane Rings: The next spell you play this turn costs less to play.
As an additional cost to play Vile Ritual, discard two cards.
Add :symb::symb::symb: to your manapool.
(I know black doesn't produce mana currently, but then again blue normally doesn't have vigilance. See PC Spoiler)
Jan 15, 2007Thanks Daftmouse, I'll look into Liege of the Pit. If it works, then great, but even if it doesn't work, I am a demon collector.Posted in: Retired Clan Threads
As for Hex. I don't think its practical. You actually need six targets, or you can't play the card.
Thanks for the response! :D:D:D

Damnation will rock as well!
I've looked at the PC spoiler and all I can say is: "... wow..."
