It is one of those cards that are better in duals. Half the time you will choose yourself.

To the poster above: note that you may cast the copy.

Yes, he would have to pay 1 more. Isochron scepter is one of the rare cards where you cast a copy of a spell. Well, formally speaking he could also activate the scepter and then choose not to cast the counter spell, in which case he would not have to pay.

In the future, please post in the rules forum for rules questions and use links when you mention a card (click the small card back icon over the area you write in).

At one point... Gaea's Skyfolk was considered well over the curve.

Skyknight Legionnaire is still decent in boros!

If you are in multiplayer in not-green, weathered wayfarer should be active nearly all the time. I play it a lot in duels and typically it will win on ca alone if left unanswered, even if I am going first and even if I do not get it turn 1 (admittedly, I often end up building around land tutoring, so it should perhaps not be too surprising), because of fetchlands and similar.

I like Selfless Spirit in this sort of deck. It stops wraths in a quite devastating way.

Also, perhaps weathered wayfarer - the card is stupid in multiplayer and can, using fetch lands, be very good in duals as well.

Mother of runes is also a great hate bear.

Have you looked at the death and taxes legacy deck? It is in essence mono-white hate bears.dec and some lists may have some other suggestions.

Aether vial is a common card in hate bear decks.

I do not like Geist of Saint Traft too much, since he does not do anything except on offense and he dies too easily there (from my pov).

I will not recommend cards from the new set since I am sure you are on top of that.

Wirewood symbiote is a fairly good protection card/etb reuser that happens to go infinite with mirror entity and priest of titania or elvish archdruid or Harabaz Druid or any other card that somehow can tap for 3 or more mana (2 mana and you can get infinitely many etb triggers - in either case you can reduce the mana generation requirement by 1 if your creatures does not die when activating mirror entity for 0 - e.g. because all creatures have boosted toughness)

Haakon, Stromgald Scourge would be nice but require some backup tutor into gy cards.

Aura shards would work well against enchantments and artifacts but does not really fit your everything must be about types goal.

elvish guidance is annother creature type matters accel spell.

Lets try to look at this combo with PE. Lets say that you have him, his token, PE and 3 other artifacts in play (and no untapped mana - you used that to play PE say). A third of your deck is land and the reminder is artifacts - for ease of calculation, I am ignoring how this changes as we go along. You tap your artifacts, getting 5 mana and activates Urza. 1/3 of the time you hit a land, 2/3 of the time you hit an artifact and untap all. This means that you get to activate him 3 or more times less than half the time (2/3 * 2/3 = 4/9 to be precise). I am not impressed with those odds. Yes, if you get 3 or more the probability to fail gets quite small, but I would expect the probability to end up just below 1/3 to go infinite, which is not that great.

That looks nice, I cant see much to suggest. The only card I could think of that seemed great would be Mobilized District, as a free 3/3 for much of the game. Also, future sight, because I imagine a bit more draw would be nice. On the other hand, I guess revealing the cards as you draw them is worse in a flash based deck. That said, it ugin the enfebble (when you get him) and top would be a nice little combo.

I like innocent blood more really, but I might be valuing mana efficency too highly for this deck (i.e. you might be able to afford it manawise). Still, 4/2 is not great stats, since it dies to utility creatures on offense (and I think it is not too important on defense, but I guess it is a question of trying the deck).

Is the deck for multiplayer or duels btw? It may be worth running some 1 power deathtouch creatures as rattlesnakes in multiplayer.

I would likely cut a few random sac outlets, e.g. still Gnawing zombie, since you got 4 other sac outlets with 1 power (and a few more that could work that way if you saced them in response to their ability) and maybe Gutless Ghoul, just because it cost 1 to activate and you figured you did not really need more life gain with the staff. Perhaps also some of the 2/2 for 3 that gives themself +2/+2 just because you have so many - on the other hand, I imagine they are great.

Btw, you could put -1/-1 counters on your own 2 power creatures to protect them from targeted removal (also rusalka could do that). That does make the Aven better in my eyes, because you can then reuse it.

I do not really have many ideas for what else to cut.

Mortuary Mire seems worth it for a etb land. Path of Ancestry might be worth it, even though you only have a few spirits besides your commander. You have relative few etb lands so it should not cost too much tempo.

Undercity scavenger is cleary the worst sac outlet. Works once and you just end up with a 5/5 and a bit of scry.
Gnawing zombie costs too much for its effect. Maybe also the Aven. 4 mana to sac something once (ok, and draw 2 cards and lose 2 life). Voracious Null cost 2 to sac, which I find expensive and instant speed is important for this deck (otherwise you lose half the triggers in duels, more in multi). I would also drop Slum Reaper since they will likely have something chump blockable to sac so it does not do too much.
I might also drop Evincar's Justice, since I imagine that you do not really need sweepers too much. You have a ton of chump blockers that comes back to life and it would kill your commander (unless protected). I do not like the cards that make your oppeont lose a few life on death. They do not do enough for my taste.

I think you should also go for:
Ashen-Skin Zubera - honestly you forgot this. It is the best discarder I think. It can make them discard 3 every second turn (sac before end step and in end step) AND has the devastating discard on death trigger that can make people locked until they draw instant speed removal (a few others has it too).
Besides Death denied, you should also make space for Reaping the Graves. I typically find it to be better (mostly in ub though where you can get it back easily)

Sylvok Lifestaff might be worthwhile as a 1 mana gain 3 life with buyback, in essence. I am unsure if more life is needed though.
Whispersilk Cloak is a decent protection spell. It protects from other things than the
Sparring Construct protects you commander from sweepers and burn (after a few turns atleast).
Shred Memory grabs a ton of nice cards and is also sometimes worth casting for its effect.

Aiming for roughly 6 does seem better.

I would try to fit Countryside Crusher. It gives you much more gas AND grows based on your sac lands AND makes wrenns ability better.

Also, I feel that Protean Hulk is better than Wurmcoil Engine. If they play a wrath on the former with a few more creatures out, they are likely to be in a worse position than before the wrath while better on the latter. I guess the lifelink is better but I am not sure how often it comes up(i.e. the difference in your life total). The deathtouch seems irrelevant.

Smokestack could work for you I think (on 2 say?). Maybe too slow though.

Green Sun's Zenith seems decent too.

My feeling right now is that if you want more sac outlets, wait a bit and pick up the newly spoiled card

You just write the name in card tags like normal: wrenn and six

The only hard part is to spell the name.

I think the crop rotation one was mainly for 1v1, where it seems broken as you said.

I am unsure how well this would work. Like, you would need say 8 lands for the big bombs like eldrazi (more really I guess).
If the first few bombs gets blown up in various ways (which I would expect in competive play - stp say), then the number of lands you are playing over everybody else will hurt a lot.

I guess you can try for some mana denial as you said, but say that you drop a red mass ld turn 4 or so (I assume you need to do something by turn 4 to have a chance in this format). Now, everybody needs to rebuild and wrenn helps you here, but you need to get to 4 mana (at least) to play summer bloom again, since it was likely played once before. At that point, I guess you can ultimate wreen and do the mass ld every 6th turn. That would be devasting, but if someone went for you and kept their lands back the first time, he likely could kill you between turn 4 and 10. Also, you need to win somehow.
Besides that, I am not sure if turn 4 reset is fast enough. It could be, but I am not certain. I could easily see this format becoming faster than that.

On the other hand, you could do mana denial that does not hurt someone with a lot of lands. I think that would be rare, like ruination, bloodmoon and magus of the moon, if you are focusing on basics and the usual stax cards like Smokestack, Tangle Wire, Trinisphere, Lodestone Golem, Sphere of Resistance and The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale, but apart from these?

Does he work with undying creatures? You sac the creature as the cost, then the undying trigger goes on the stack, then his ability to put a -1/-1 counter, so the -1/-1 resolves first so it doesn't work? I might be missing a rules thing there.

You are missing that you pick targets before paying. Therefore, doing that would counter the abillity. To get it to work you need two creatures with undying.
