Green having better removal than Black since 1997.
Those damn unplayable outside of limited removal spells just keep on coming in green! I mean, if only black would stop getting stuff like Grasp of Darkness, maybe it would finally be able to beat green's amazing creature removal suite. All those cards like Go for the Throat and Doom Blade and Hero's Downfall were completely inferior to... ahh... some green cards whose names I can't remember. I'm sure they were in a ton of tournament decks though!
Once more, I'm talking about limited, I don't give a **** about standard. And surely you realize that you named cards from Mirrodin, Core set 2014, Theros and Grasp (which is about to rotate). It's been a while.

Really? Since 1997? I'd argue New Phyrexia at the earliest, and only then because instant-speed Vindicate. Innistrad block gave us Prey Upon, Ulvenwald Tracker, and Ambush Viper for efforts on green removal. I mean, the only green removal that hits creatures (which is generally what we mean by "removal", especially in limited) printed in 1997 is Mortal Wound, and that's really only good in limited: The card disadvantage kills you otherwise.
I was trying to make a point, not determining the exact period of time this started to happen. I'm talking about limited, where black is supposed to have the best removal as green is supposed to have the best creatures. If one color has both, then what's the point?
