Heh... Do you think they chose -on purpose- a card that can be transfigured by the other (or vice-versa, a card that would interact with the obvious legend to reveal today)?
I was pretty sure there was only one card with transfigure in the set.
there might be a 4CC creature in the set which would work well with this. But nothing else with transfigure.
I usually go to prereleases in brisbane. I've missed the last two though.
i think a thread usually goes up sayin who's going to be at what pre-release.
anyway, welcome. have a good time.
i don't know why but i love seeing my post count go up. i started being active like in october last year and caught up with lots of posts. i don't think one can say that they aren't posts without content. i always tend to trust people who have more posts. i mean, who would have dedicated a year or so of frequent posting to get to rip someone? i also think that joining date is important because it lets you know if the person is new therefore needs help on the fonctionning or if that person is right on an argument on the way the forum works (a.k.a rules).
alos, the argument that people do no-content posts is bad. what are mods for if not to watch out for this kind of thing (amongst other things)? a warned person won't restart making 3 word posts. (anyawy, if he/she does, he/she will be suspended after a few times and that will maybe get to banning.
my thoughts: keep both the postcount and join date.
But one could say that they are posts without content?
anyway, the mods are there to look out for things like that, but if removing postcounts would reduce this (as you admit) then why should we not do this? A lot of people who support keeping postcounts make arguments about their enjoyment of watching that number go up, or respecting a member with higher posts. you should respect a member based on what they say, not how much they speak. if in trading you want to make sure you can trust someone, then don't make a trade worth $400 with a user who registered three days ago and has no iTrader rating. I'm sure that just by looking at a few people's profiles you'd be able to find someone to trade with based on how their previous trades went, not on how many times they have pressed a button on an internet forum. That's the reason the itrader system is there, and i'm pretty sure it's far more reliable than post count.
I know i'm just repeating a lot of what other people have said, but i really don't see the point in keeping post-counts. Also, just because someone has a lot of posts doesn't mean that they are likely to stay at the site.
if i post again i'll try and say more.
that's all i have to say
Anyway, who are all these banned members, +t!, and a heckload of people, and why is +t! deleted?
+t! was a troll, who was pretty well-liked in the gutter. eventually he decided that he'd had enough and posted tubgirl through the forums. ? instead of banning him i think he was just (accidentally or not, i'm not sure) deleted.
To be exact, every second member was a mod.
Oh, I remember those times. I used to visit manatap.com just for the sake of hillarity...
But hey, it was Xenphire. I wouldn't expect any less
Thanks Goblinboy for the memories, we miss you
i was a member there, with like four posts or something. it was all very amusing. but it was kind of obvious it couldn't survive though.
Stormblind was an admin at one point, and yeah fuer too.
You may remember M Shumate, liar extraordinaire and dramawhore. Once he got angry that the mods weren't listening to him or something and so he claimed that MTGS was falling apart and started his own site, modeled forum-for-forum off of MTGSalvation. He did the same thing that MTGS did to MTGNews and would advertise it anywhere he could, and then complained of prosecution when we'd delete the ads. The site was so unpopular that he actually offered monetary compensation to people who would post on his site, most of whom were others who were also dramawhores assured of MTGS' falling apart and that there would be an "exodus" (god i hate that word) to M Shumate's site. I don't even remember the name of the site. None of us in the Mod lounge really cared or felt threatened by the "competition" but we always kept tabs on it because it was so hilarious and pathetic. I think their forums ended up getting hosted by magicdeckvortex.com for a while and then disappeared.
.
I remember that site. www.Manatap.com, or something. they had about as many mods as here does, but with a tenth of the forums and a thousandth of the users.
that was a very interesting read, all of it. i didn't know most of the stuff from before bel. Thanks Unca gobbo
You were in the wrong here IMO. You have a job and you are working to do that job. You flatly disobeyed orders. If you worked at my job I would fire you too.
Besides why should you care about somebody you dont know like that. Its even worse to put your job on the line because of it.
I thought that compassion was a virtue, and that helping people in danger, regardless of who they were was also a good thing. Just because he didn't know the person doesn't mean she should mean nothing to him.
I think that you did the right thing, but that there were other things that you could have done that would have been better, like calling the police.

I played dungeon siege 1. Is 2 better? 1 was kinda different. Enjoyable though.
Also, for graphics, you play oblivion.
Also, you should be using dark skin. just change too dark and VOILA, it no longer burns. and the entire site looks better.
Andrew, i'm pretty good. even if i do have a heap of school stuff.
Sene. I don't really know you. But i do enjoy LAN parties. I love diablo 2.
I would say the extendoed post deserves a warning if he is being very strict. Which i think he is.
I'm running out of content to fit in this post.
It's midnight here so i'm going to bed.
I'll post here again tomorrow.
if i'm allowed to join.
