Edit: Would anyone run this deck under the name of "American Armory"? I'm not american myself but I find it quite fitting. Also it makes it more distinguishable from the legacy Cheeri0s. Opinions?

I personally think that the name is obnoxiously centered towards the american (as in USA) community. Cheeri0s is a fun name.

Can you guys explain to me why Muddle the mixture was ditched? Seemed like a decent tutor. Also is there any math in the 20 cheeri0s that are being proposed?

About your list I would rethink your sideboard. Kataki, Kor Firewalker, Thrun are narrow options, in the sense that they work in very specific matchups. In the meantime Bonfire of the damned is too gimmicky, you can't just wait to draw it in the perfect time. You need to assess the card both in its best scenario and the worst scenario and believe me I have run Bonfire and I have come across the worst scenarios much more than the opposite.

Modern is such a big format that I would settle for options that while not being the best in specific scenarios, have wider uses. In this regard, I have switched to Torpor Orb (I like spreading my threats, that's why I am not using Hushwing Gryff), Phyrexian Unlife, and others.

It works for me and I have been putting up results. For my part I don't like the fact that some pilots think there's a dichotomy between using CoCo or using Planeswalkers.

My list for the past tourney. A small homage to some of you who helped develop an archetype that I love: https://www.facebook.com/magicsur.chile/photos/pcb.909488449160799/1276734205672539/?type=3&theater.

Hey guys, went to our local monthly tourney with Naya Company. Over 62 people playing modern felt good. Made top 8 with a 4-0-2 record, beating Grixis Delver (2-1), Affinity (2-1), Taking turns (2-0) and Abzan Junk (2-1). ID against burn and naya humans. First round of the top 8 got paired against burn and got promptly roasted 0-2.

You can always add a Breeding Pool, replacing either a ghost quarter (which i wouldnt advice) or Stirring Wildwood. Before dismissing them, try them out extensively. I do think that the first two modes are great for us as it serves a tempo/aggro approach.

Utility is one thing, but command offers two modular effects for 2 mana. With mana efficiency being the name of the game in older formats, I dont think that you need "scale up" cards.

I know but if we are being honest, more often than not (about 80% of the time) it just works as a removal and is sometimes conditional. This is a non conditional removal, more useful against decks like bogles, infect and jund. The 4 life mode (which is admittedly the weakest mode) is useful against burn. And the untapping is just a great combat trick. I'd say that even if we are using one of the modes is better than the two modes we can get 80% of the time from dromoka's. Is my reasoning wrong or not considering something? I am open for discussion :).

Did you like the new spoiled card Blessed Alliance for Naya CoCo? I feel its just so much better than dromoka's command. As a matter of fact I am thinking about replacing my singleton dromoka's command for that card.

Any pros and cons you have about it?

Its the same thing I was thinking. It wont see mainboard application (its prolly better suited for DnT decks), but it can still get some room sideboard. I am excited!

Hey guys, did you see the new Thalia? She is the bomb!

They are just talking out of their asses if you ask me. Its a disfavorable matchup (I would put it 40 vs 60), but by far not the worst. With Ad Nauseaum I dont see why it can be difficult. They wont have the combo every game 1 turn 4, and if you are the early aggressor and keep a hand with Pridemage, it can be beat. Game 2 and 3 should be much easier: deploy an early thalia (and if you are playing Phyrexian Unlife and Eidolon of Rhetoric those as well) and you can win fairly easy.

Titanshift is a pain in the bottom I will admit it.

No it's not that bad. It is a deck that doesn't respond well to a turn 3 company or to a timely ghost quarter. Both of those options will give you plenty of time to seal the game. Game 1, go for early aggression and a KOTR (THE SOONER THE BETTER). When its time for sideboard go for early stony silence and blood moon and Aven Mindcensor (if it is in your sb) and you should have an easy game.

Naya Company is well suited for the meta right now. It's Tier 3 not based on its win % but based on the fewer number of people that play it. Most competitive players prefer playing one of two styles of decks: highly interactive (ala Jund, Jeskai Nahiri, etc) or busted linear (ala infect, bloom titan etc). Naya Company is right in the middle of that, with some interaction in the form of removal spells, but a linear(ish) attack plan.

Naya Company is in a great position because there isn't a form of busted combo deck that is running rampant.

But there is Tron, who is holding a high percentage on the metagame statistics right now, and is a really bad match for Naya Company.

Dude, that's just like saying that Lil Zoo is a bad meta call just because Jund has a high representation in the meta. If you ask me Big Zoo is much more flexible and resilient and Zookeepers was a step backwards in the direction we were heading.

Just like in any other matchup, there are free wins and free losses. And I would say that Ad Nauseam is a much better matchup for Big Zoo than it is for Lil Zoo, pre sideboard and after sideboard.

This is like Modern 101: All decks have bad matchups. Its like dismissing Lil Zoo just because Abzan Company or Jeskai Control has a big representation of the meta.

And also we are being pretty skewed in our analysis if we just forget that stats is just aggregated information. There is no such thing as a big meta for Modern. I can tell you that in South America the meta is much more linear and aggro and that control barely exists.

Of course playing against Tron as Big Zoo is not an insta loss either. They are much more volatile now than ever before and the time they take in assembling the pieces gives you plenty of time to develop a solid boardstate.

I will insist that Big Zoo is just as viable than before. Its a beaters deck with tons of options in sideboard (much more than Lil Zoo), and that doesnt fold against hate easily. How is it ever going to be a bad option? If you are doing bad with the deck you shoulndt reconsider your deck, but how you are playing: adjust your plan accordingly, grind against different matchups and simply, learn to play better.

I, on the contrary, don't think that Elspeth is the Solution. I would say that the best option is double Domri Rade or at least one. It's a great removal and needs to be answered right away before it starts giving us insane card advantage and info.
