Honestly, I think the maindeck is pretty solid (though the premise of the deck might be a little shaky), can't think of any ideas for that. For your sideboard, what kind of meta are you expecting? Finally, mana burn seems a pretty good title
Thanks to the *plethora* of help I recieved, and some ideas of my own, I have made this new list complete with sideboard (though the sideboard isn't complete)

I think you should remove the Stone Rains for Blood Moons. I think they are a great metagame call. Have you tried Giant Solifuge?
I don't play Solifuge because popping a Phoenix would kill it. I play the stone rains to put them back a turn on their land drops, not just to hurt their colors. I did put moons in the sideboard however
I still need more ideas for the sideboard, so Please help this time
EDIT: Thanks guys for the help, and I don't mean to sound ungreatful, but I'm pretty confident in the maindeck, I'm just really looking for more help with the sideboard.
I built this Red deck and will be using it in a tournament soon. However, I am having difficulty coming up with a sideboard. I don't know what the metagame will be, so just assume a standard gauntlet. Also, I want to replace the hunted dragons because they haven't preformed very well, but I cant think of anything that could fill its spot. If you see any major flaws in the maindeck, please comment on them also.
I count the Genju as creatures because that's what they act as. For the sideboard, I've already figured out 3 Zo-Zu, but that's it. Thank you for your time.
EDIT: someone please respond (though if you are in here, thats probably what you were thinking anyway)
To DFC with ya! Please ensure that if you are posting in the Competitive forum that you are following the forum rules. This is defnitely a deck for critique, and I hope you get the help with your deck that you desire! Thanks!
Just curious, seeing as this deck should be winning by at least turn 6 to be a good aggro deck, do you really think that it is the best idea to add more 4 drops instead of smaller drops?
alright, so this deck is purely theoretical, as I don't really have the money and/or MWS (damn their lack of mac version) to make/test the deck, though i probably will make the deck soon enough. It is, however, based on ideas from this thread and my own prejudices (mostly the latter).
I don't play Jitte, mostly just because I don't really like it, as it is the source of all things evil; second, because my coffers are low enough ignoring that the rest of this deck is already so expensive; and third, cause of the anti synergy w/ burning tree. I know it doesn't really make a huge difference, but it's still something.
Stone rain has just been good in general in my experience, so thats why i would play that.
Finally, I'm considering switching the hammers for shocks, so give your thoughts on that.
[EDIT] AHH, please don't ignore me!! Look, cute kitty!! here for cute kitties!!
Thanks for the feedback. I'll spend more time working on this list and probably post a new thread after more time. More replies still welcome though, just to help come up with ideas. Feel free to post your own ideas for decks with similar general ideas.
EDIT: Just thought about changing the decklist for a while, and the main idea I thought of was a sort of mix between B/G controll And MUC, so I decided to put off making the deck until Simic come out to see if they offer any cool toys. The earlier part of the post still applies, and if anyone can come up with a good version of the B/G/U control without any new cards, that would be great
Hi, I just came up with an idea for a 5 color control deck for standard and wanted some outside opinions before I wasted any of my time and money building it. please read the decklist before immediately condemning the deck. And I know the mana base is probably bad, I didn't work too hard on it yet
If you think the deck is any good, post any suggestions. If you think the deck is worthless, please post as well. Before you point this out, I know the shocklands are better than the painlands, I just wouldn't be able to spend $200 on 10 Shocklands (this is imagining the last three had come out).
Metagame: Mostly rogue, some W/R control and WW/r
Thanks for your feedback
Okay, first, you need to make your deck a little bit more consistent, such as less cards with only one copy of them in it. That way, you will draw your best cards. Second, you really need to decide what your best cards are. If you have this one card that wins you the game in the perfect situation, and does nothing for you otherwise, then you should probably cut it. Some more card specific notes to help you with the cutting: cards that I generally wouldn't consider playing/don't think is good in this deck: Baku Altar; Jade Idol; God's Eye, Gate to the Reikai; Joyous Respite; Desperate Ritual; Ashen Monstrosity; Kami of the Honored Dead; Thousand Legged Kami.
Try taking those out and adding some more of the other cards in the deck you think are better. I reccomend more Kodamas and Glacial Ray. Finally, try to cut your deck down to two colors, that way you are more likely to draw the lands you need (I suggest you cut white as it seems to be your weakest color). The ideas that aren't card specific can generally apply to all decks you build. Good luck in your tournaments!

Did anyone read the new ask wizards? Randy Buhler basically admitted that this is a crap set made just to sell more cards!!!!!!!!!!!! Seeing as the vaults dont exist.
