Hey all,
I'm looking to sell some of my cards, and I happened upon Card Kingdom (www.cardkingdom.com). Anyone sold cards to them before? Also, any websites you have to suggest would be greatly appreciated.
I don't think that scragnoth is really good enough to deserve a sideboard spot. Its a 3/4 for 5, and it really isn't much of a hoser against any decks. Also, I would reccommend putting something in the sideboard to replace cryoclasm in case they aren't playing white or blue, maybe move the acid moss to the sideboard for this, and put avalanche riders into the main.
And yet, as of right now Adarkar Wastes has been reprinted in a core set and Hallowed Fountain has not. And why? Because it has the effect that they were looking for. I can't really see how you expect this to help your argument. They did reprint Adarkar Wastes despite the fact that it has a general name. It's really that simple.
Umm... could it be that Hallowed Fountain hasn't been in print when a core set came out yet? I don't see how a less powerful effect gets the affect they want in this case, as the increased playing around multicolored sets seems to indicate that multicolored is a fun theme, and more powerful multicolor lands would make this easier.
I took out the Draining Whelks because I realized that I don't need the extra finisher. Other changes are discussed in the posts which suggested them, I simply agreed with their reasoning.
You can play the whispers and no pay the buyback cost. You can "cycle" them in the first turns when you can't pay 6 mana.
I did know this, but i was simply saying that it is more effective if the buyback cost can be payed. If i was planning on cyclying them alot, then i would just play another draw spell, but if i play less copies, it is less likely that i will draw them early game and need to cycle them.
I did consider playing more whispers, but I decided that I would get the most benefit out of it if it is drawn late game, so i figured less copies is more effective. Also, could you possibly post your deck?
I have also considered ancestral visions, and am still a little wary of the suspend with no mana cost. I think that the cards i have in now are more effective, or at least as effective and cost less money. If someone can show that they tested strongly with visions, then i will definetly add it.
Thanks

Though storage lands might be good, I don't think they would be good enough to warrant playing off color lands. they wouldn't fix my mana at all.
ummm...... the card which char is a near reprint of does nothing?
