Is there any relationship between the Golgari and the Golgothian Sylex? Like the names seem similar enough that maybe the sylex belonged to the Golgari or something.
Meh, I thought the planeswalkers weren't good for the game before. Now we get more on the field? I'm not looking forward to the broken shenanigans about to go down with this.
I always loved the art on this card. Reminded me of folks in some podunk town having a ho-down unaware of the planeswalkers about to round the corner bringing with them chaos.
I suspect it'll be a DFC too. Err actually a couple DFCs
You'll have a couple cards that cost 5 to 7 each to play and they can transform only once both are on the table. They transform together at the same time. When you turn them over each represents one half of emrakul and you put the two cards together sort of like B.F.M.
Each being 5 to 7 to play means the total paid will be in line with what an eldrazi would typically be but without so much ramp it's actually reasonable to play across a couple turns.
Putting two cards together like that when they transform will make it feel real big and splashy. A true titan that you've got to fight against.
How does this card work in 2 headed giant?
Do they have to specify which head they're attacking and the bodyguards would only kick in if they attack the head that controls the bodyguards?
Sort of off topic but what about the reverse also, for things like hypnotic specter?
If they attack with a hypnotic specter do they specify which head they're attacking and that person has to discard the cards or is this person chosen only after there's no block?
When two or more replacement or prevention effects try to change the outcome of an event, the player directly affected by the original event or that controls or owns the affected game object is the one who chooses the order the replacement/prevention effects are applied.
And what if it's by two different players?
Opponent controls Furnace of Rath, attacks w/ a 1/1
I've got Thunderstaff and bodyguards (bodyguards I guess are irrelevant at this point)
Does the damage get doubled then reduced by 1 or does it get reduced by 1 then doubled? Is it still the defending players choice?
How does Thunderstaff figure into this? Combat damage would be dealt to me so it gets reduced by 1 then redirected to the bodyguards?
Or does it get redirected to the bodyguards and since it's not doing damage to me doesn't get reduced?
Does the timing of when I played the bodyguard and Thunderstaff come into play at all?
Combine this with yesterdays card. Only creatures with islandwalk can attack ;o)
Sort of reminds me of Island Sanctuary from back in the day.

Does my creature get bigger if I investigate after it resolves or smaller if I sac a clue token?
Can Cultivator Drone be used to pay for the morph cost required to turn the card over even if the card becomes colored when it's turned over?
I guess another way of asking this. Does the morph ability belong to the colorless side of the card or the colored side of the card?
I can use Cultivator Drone to cast Aquamorph Entity face down.
On my next turn can I use Cultivator Drone to pay the 2U to turn it face up?
