In response to your post, since this poster explained how I feel very well, I will just quote it below.

Right. When the median rare pull is now down to $1.20 that tells us that WotC really is looking at these like $10 low-payout lottery tickets (seriously, the jackpot on these things is ridiculously small for a $10 lottery ticket) and not something that most people will be happy purchasing. So, for the 68 rares and mythic, Mirran Crusader at $2.33 is the median. Just the rares it goes to Scute Mob at $1.20.

EDIT: Just to be clear, I am not some entitled brat who thinks that the set is bad because WotC owes me something based on my own ideas or value. What I do see is a company that knows its customers are suckers, gambling addicts, and bad at math. They saw an opportunity to print trash, dangle a pot of gold in front of you, but then backload it with trash. Not every card needed to be good, but at $10 there's no excuse for how top loaded this piece of ***** release is. I look at it and I can't even imagine it being fun to draft either. It really just looks like an excuse to reprint tons of expensive cards while masking it as a limited event.

Here is MTGGoldfish's top 50 creatures played in Modern. For comparison purposes of Flame Slash vs Roast, let's just focus on the ones that have 4 or more toughness i.e. cant be dealt with by bolt.

Creature that Flame Slash can cover that Roast cannot:
    #35 Restoration Angel.

Creatures that Roast can cover that Flame Slash cannot:
    #4 Tarmogoyf (on average its a 4/5)
    #7 Tasigur, the Golden Fang
    #17 Siege Rhino
    #37 Gurmag Angler.

So I think Roast is better than Flame Slash.

So, basically noone is sure what build is the correct one, or what sideboard cards are good. Right?

Is it maybe possible to instead of posting your own deck once every three post and showing off your result, to actually discuss whether Grixis Delve / Grixis Delver / Young Grixis Delver is the better suited deck in a certain metagame? I feel like the last 10 pages are mainly about showing off your results (or your misses at a local tournament) instead of creating a clearly structured discussion about the strenghts and weaknesses of the deck.

What I would like to know is what the skeleton is of the deck, what the flexspots are, why you chose the flexspots and how they actually performed in tournament play. By evaluating that, you could say what flexspots perform better in a certain metagame. In that way, we can all improve the deck (even further).
While I too am curious which version is better, I do feel that people showing results is an important component of that discussion.

I know this has been asked, and please forgive me in advance, but I see the new Goyfs hovering around $135. I was wondering if I should wait a little while longer or bite the bullet and buy a playset. Word is I should wait. If anyone could help me out with this that would be awesome!
    Wait until after GP Vegas.

    Criticism of this product.

    1. Too much filler. Lack of good commons and uncommons. Also, inclusion of Comet Storm as a mythic.
    2. The packaging can damage cards.
    3. Misprints and miscuts at a much higher rate than normal
    4. Packs can easily be tampered
    5. Packaging errors at a much higher rate than normal, box with no rares, box with all foils being Rusted Relic

As for a Modern Event Deck, if Wizards is adamant about the ridiculous price tag, they could've made this shell instead, which would've been much better than the half-hearted BW Tokens shell. This is a decent start for a new player. And if you modify the deck and add Blinkmoth Nexus, Inkmoth Nexus, Arcbound Ravager, and Mox Opal, bam, there is your tier 1 deck. Was something like this too much to ask?

Edit: added this to the OP.

Could be. We will never know.
Mono-Black was already filled with 3 CMC cards. Nightveil Specter, Lifebane Zombie, Underworld Connections, Hero's Downfall, Drown in Sorrow and even Pack Rats ability costs 3. There would have been cuts in the deck if she would have been reprinted.
I'm pretty sure that all these cards listed were on the top-10 most played spells in Standard list on MTGGoldfish. In fact, I think that at one point, all 10 cards on that list were black. Wink
