It's been said before me: discard, man-lands, and totems etc. all do good work you're looking for. Epochrasite has been my creature of choice versus Wrath-like effects. But versus Condemn and O-Ring, not so good. Pit Keeper and Gravedigger are good for some advantage after a wrath/damnation. Penumbra Spider(as well as the other Penumbra creatures, no others in Standard though) also combats mass removal spells. Gaddock Teeg is a new thorn in the side of the control player as well.
"....If able" Dark Confidant is unable to block as it is attacking.
You are correct.
It is a legal target for the Hunt Down, though. Nothing of importance will happen.
This makes sense in sort of a DUH kind of way.:B:
- One issue against it that it could needlessly clutter the speculation or the new card discussion forum, which does see quite a bit of traffic during the season.
-Also would the fact that the new issue of Scrye with a full spoiler in it make Lorwyn rules issues a "safe" topic? -It's less than a day away, and I know I may be splitting hairs, but w/e...
Just to note, auras target only while they are on the stack.
If the enchanted creature somehow gained shroud after an aura was attached to it, the aura would not "fall off".
--but do note that if the enchanted creature gained protection from a color that the aura is, it would indeed "fall off".
At my prereleases, there's a Main event and 32-player flights.
The differences are amount of people(main event-unlimited), and prize support, as well as length.. More to the main event if there's quite a few people(64+).
1st: 2 booster boxes of Lorwyn
2nd - 8th: 1 booster box of Lorwyn
32-player flights
1st: 1 booster box of Lorwyn
2nd: 18 booster packs of Lorwyn
3rd - 4th: 9 booster packs of Lorwyn
5th - 8th: 6 booster packs of Lorwyn
it seems like your mega-flight is similar to my prerelease's "main event"
--if you're confident in your abilities, do a mega-flight. It may be longer, but in the end it can be worth it.
Arena doesn't care if the creature you control is tapped, it's ability would resolve. It's targets are "target creature you control and target creature of an opponent's choice he or she controls."
Even if the targeted creatures get tapped before the ability resolves, it would still resolve.
-The creatures don't need to be untapped for them to be targeted either.
Reveal
To reveal an object is to show that object to all players.
If a one-shot effect reveals a card, the card is returned
to its former state after all players have seen it.
If the cost to play a spell or ability includes revealing a card,
the card remains revealed from the time the spell or
ability is announced until it leaves the stack.
I guess I can post, too.
But I wasn't able to until I randomly changed some options in the user control panel. First I tried switching to invisible mode, it didn't work. Then I changed the Postbit Style to vB3 style and it worked when I posted a rulings answer.
I am a gutter member though. Not sure if it matters since mikeyG's a member too.
-{mikeyG} here. I am a Gutter member, but my permissions (the options that give members access to various sections and abilities) may be different than other Gutter members since I'm a Global as well.

It's the most current, has all errata, etc.

300.3 comp rules:
Cataclysm doesn't target, so you'd have to sacrifice.

Just gave it a whirl with the 'Walkers and Futureshifted templates.
Very good!
Thanks!

To answer, yes.
