Wow, a major tip of the hat to Finkel in a day of unsporting/unclassy/dbaggery-like conduct everywhere I see, especially in my LGS. The inmates run the asylum there as there aren't many 'class acts' there, myself included.
People need to chill, its just a game, etc, etc...
2.) Getting mad at FNM. It's one thing to get mad in your own home with just your friends if something super unlucky/frustrating happens, but don't do it with people you've never met before. It's pathetic.
I used to be disgusted at my FLGS price of $110 a box(Sad pre-Zendikar, right?). It is a shame we are being conditioned towards these price increases due to "shortages" of product, or distributors increasing prices(my FLGS's excuse).
On topic, I always have my products delivered from CF. Also, sucks they raised prices, but they have the right to do so.
My opponent plays Volcanic Fallout. I control two Grizzly Bears. Can I chose to redirect 1 damage from each of the Bears and thus save both (since Fallout's damage is all dealt at the same time)?
This is correct.
The relevant FAQ entry:
* If the chosen source would simultaneously deal damage to multiple permanents you control (like Pyroclasm could) or to you and at least one permanent you control (like Earthquake could), Harm's Way will redirect just 2 of that damage. It won't redirect the next 2 damage that would be dealt to each recipient. You choose which 2 damage is redirected. If you like, you can choose to redirect 1 damage that would be dealt by the chosen source to each of two different recipients.
Can I get an official ruling on if you cascade and have no legal targets left in your deck..it cost me a top 8 spot tonight because my local shop has been ruling it a game lost..because it removes your whole deck from the game permanently lol, now I am curious because that doesn't sound right at all
From the Alara Reborn FAQ:
If you play a spell with cascade and there are no nonland cards in your library with a converted mana cost that's less that that spell's converted mana cost, you'll remove your entire library from the game. Then you'll randomly rearrange those cards and put them back as your library. Although you're essentially shuffling those cards, you're not technically doing so; abilities that trigger whenever you shuffle your library won't trigger.
The flying samurai chick, right? I don't see that frame due to adblock.

What he was doing is waiting until the faerie was championed then removing it. And saying it has to be in play for the tap all lands trigger to resolve.
Does anyone have any experience with these Ultra Pro sleeves:
I am in the process of sleeving my cube(and the rest of my decks) and was wondering the quality of these. Due to prices, they look to me like they're UltraPro's "base model" sleeve, like below their standard sleeves(Raven Black etc.) but obviously better than penny sleeves. However, the zipper-bag frightens me, as UP's penny sleeves are sold in packages like that. They're probably not that good, but it's worth a try, seeing as I found them for around a dollar a pack. Are they "good enough?" I'm cheap.
Thank you.
Edit: These sleeves aren't penny sleeves. They are essentially an opaque solid color sleeve, similar to any of the $3 a pack(retail) UP sleeves. I can tell no difference between them and other UP sleeves, in regards to durability/rigidity. There is no hologram. And for $24 per 1000, this was a GREAT deal.

This, and the hand shuffling. Drives me bonkers.
I use these:
Just got 1000 for $22. They're not ZOMG the best sleeves or anything, but they do the job.
Um, not quite.
In Vampires, they provide a shuffle effect for Nocturnus.

I do know this, and that is exactly what I did.
Chalk this one up to miscommunication, I guess.
All lies. Listen next time, please.
