Oh, noe! I've only played in 16 events since the last premium pack. I guess there isn't time to fit 4 more events in before they send me the cards. What are the chances that the send these out again, I wonder?
It seems about even to me..
The myr could possibly get a hit or two in in the right deck and what is more, if the equipt creature dies you have a creature siting there to equipt to. Bingo, 3/3 myr....
Also, what about the "victims" right to "the pursuit of happiness"?
"Pursuit of happiness" is a concept that was concieved of by John Locke that ment the right to own a limited amount of property including land, livestock, a home and other tangible goods. It does not refer to a right not to be depressed, pissed off, or upset. It would be a great and terrible world if it did...
The protesters have the right to assimble so long as they do not infrenge on the rights of the deceased's family to assimble for a funeral. It apears that they did, and so now we have a law to spell it out to them.
What is black when you buy it, red when you use it, and gray when you throw it away?

A murderer is condemned to death. He has to choose between three rooms. The first is full of raging fires, the second is full of assassins with loaded guns, and the third is full of lions that haven't eaten in 3 years. Which room is safest for him?
The third. Lions that haven't eaten in three years are dead.
You are thinking something wrong here: your "reduce capacity for sexual pleasure" argument is pretty painfully off, for reasons you state later on in your post. FGM is done to control sexual behavior and circumcision simply isn't.
As stated by Chronoplasm, one of the reasons for GM in males is to control sexual behavior.
But there are a couple of other flaws as well:
Many circumcisions are now performed solely for secular reasons. Namely, foreskins can trap any number of different things that you would rather avoid, from simple dirt that can lead to infection, to STD vectors. I know at least one person who elected to be circumcised as an adult for those reasons (and the preference of his partner).
Um, I am not sure what an "STD vector" is, but I do know that with regular cleaning an uncircumcised man should have no problems. The only thing that should colect under the foreskin is dead skin cells, the same stuff that dander is made of, and it can be easily cleaned in 30 seconds in the shower.
I was circumcised for religious reasons, but I certainly don't miss my foreskin. Neither does my girlfriend. We're both non-religious people, but if we were to have a son, we would definitely have him circumcised as well. I would wager that the difference in sexual pleasure experienced by circumcised and uncircumcised men is entirely subjective, so I think that aspect can be thrown out of consideration.
If you are non-religiuous and think that the difrence in pleasure is subjective, with which I dissagree, then for what reason would you subject your son to this unnessisary procedure? As a parent it is simply negligent to allow something such as this to happen to their child.
I do have some sympathy for questions of informed consent, but this is probably on page 50 of the book of relevant medical questions regarding treatment of minors.
And why this is so, I do not understand. I do not believe that the parents of most circumcized children are fully informed, and I know that the children are too young to cocent. I sometimes think that the doctors proform these procedures simply to make more mony regardless of its effect on the child.
The only real question on the table (in my eyes) is whether the risk of a botched circumcision outweighs the risk of the various negative aspects of having a foreskin. I don't have numbers for this, but I'd take my chances again if I had to.
Look at how a circumcision is currently done and then tell me how it can not be botched. The most common method today is a cap and ring method which involves placing a cap over the head, pulling the foreskin up over the cap, and binding the skin with a ring, crushing the skin and all of the nerves, killing them over the course of a week. Tell me that is natural and that natue intended for us to mutilate ourselves... I don't really think so.
.....Remember 'Counter Rebel'? Yea, I do. As if rebels werent annoying enough.
Interestingly enough, it seems as though they are printing more rebels with the 'search for a rebel' ability in TS as well. Deja vu.... Oh, well. At least there wont be Lin Sivi.....
Well, I can't attest to being more than a terrible photographer... but i do have Tivo, and I did catch the Sengir Nosferatu ad on Adult Swim.
Here are a couple of pics off of it, that hopefully someone will be able to screw their eyes up to read.. or at least be better at sharpening them up than me.
enjoy.
Thanks,Dan. Did you get a shot of the Akroma ad? I toataly missed all of these.
How about something along the lines of Rocket Powered Turbo Slug, or whatever it is called:
New Shock :1mana::symr:
Instant
Retrospect :symr::symr: (You may play ~ without paying ~'s mana cost. If you do, you loose the game at the end of your next turn if you havent payed ~'s Retrospect cost )
~ deals 2 damage to target creature or player.
However, by my understanding of Madness, the Circular Logic could still be played. After it is discarded (too late to counter the spell forcing the discard) the Madness trigger goes on the stack. After that resolves, if the AP now plays another spell and passes, you have the option of using the removed CL or passing, which would then end the Madness window to play the CL.
(Have I got that right? I've never really come to grips with Madness as an ability before today.)
This is what happens when people are allowed to name their own bridge. Chaos ensues.
For the record, I don't like Colbert or Stewart. It doesn't help that I'm on the opposite side of the political spectrum, but I just think they can be so pretentious. I watched their shows, and both of them consist of showing a clip of a speech that Bush says, stop the clip after four words, and make fun of those four words. Hilarious.
Um.. I don't really think the spectrum aplies to them. Steward did the same thing to Clinton when he was Pres. and I think Colbrt is a consirvitive Christian when not doing the show. The shows arn't for furthering the hosts' political sentiments, they are for poking fun at the man in charge, whoever that may be at the time. And right now, Bush happens to be very easy to make fun of, this from a Republican.
Just a few things I want to get off my mind:
1.) Mindstone is terrible.
2.) The more compleat art keeps winning instead of the better art. this is a shame.
3.) The brand vote is a total rip, since not only is it skewed (10 needs 75% of the vote to win), but it is skewed in the direction that will win anyway. Who would rather have a 10 than an X?
4.) Mindstone is still rubish.
Seriously just use outlook to get your email and then you will be able to schedule things, get reminders, send and recieve apointment times and dates, ect. I would recomend a non-microsoft aplication, but since almost all the computers her at school are Windows, I am stuck with Outlook. Still, It works fine for me.
