Target opponent fractured identity and then everybody gives it to the player again triple bad news
Make sure to have a “you have hexproof ability” so this doesn’t go horibly wrong
Having Hexproof doesn't really help you though. As the ability that grants Captive Audience to an opponent doesn't target, note the lack of the word 'target' anywhere on the card.
Well, it does work, if you can get around the insane mana requirement... And now I am tempted to actually try to pull it off.
How does it work? The card clearly states non-token.
If you have three copies of this (or non-token clones), you get as many triggers of mirror march as you want, eventually overrunning your opponent.
Say you have beastie A. Then you add beastie B and have A ride it. Add beastie C, have B ride it, return A, have C ride it, retun B...
You need to have another read of Mirror Match. It also clearly says when a NONTOKEN creature enters.
And again, the Lumbering Battlement says that is exiles NONTOKENS creatures. So Copy C CAN'T exile Copy B. And even if it could Exile Copy B, then Copy B would cease to exist and never return.
They just don't work together as well as you think they do.
Shambleshark is back and the Simic made it even.... better? Who knew all it needed was some octopus spliced in there.
This seems really strong for limited. A 4/4 for 4, with strong upside.

When one or more +1/+1 counters are put on to ~, tap target creature an opponent controls. That creature doesn't untap during its controller's next untap step.
Well you seem to have a much better understanding of things now. So let's answer your new questions:
1) Correct. That is a valid play.
2) In this scenario, the Plaguelord has taken 2 damage. As soon as your Plaguelord becomes a 2/2, then the game will see that it has lethal damage marked on it. So it will die to State-Based Actions before anyone can do anything else.
2a) Well Bond of Agony is a Sorcery, so can't be (typically) cast in respond to anything. But to answer the logic behind the question, you can certainly respond to Master of Cruelties triggered ability. Your life total doesn't become 1, until the ability resolves. So feel free to mess with your life total anyway you want before then.
And yes, as soon as a player leaves a game, all spells/abilities they control on the stack are removed. So no-one else would die to any of your spells. Side note for Bonds of Agony and similar effects, you can't pay more life than actually have.
You can certainly activate Phyrexian Plaguelord targeting itself, but as the sacrifice is part of the cost it is sacrificed when you put the ability on the stack. So the ability will then be countered for not having a legal target.
So the Plaguelord died still being a 4/4, so wouldn't trigger Shirei.
Your understanding is a rather off. Targets are indeed determined when you put spells/abilities on the stack, but the effect isn't 'processed' until the spell/ability actually resolves. Which is LONG after you pay the costs for the spell/ability.
When a card dies, it goes to its owner's graveyard. As you are not the owner of Vengeful Pharaoh, it is not in your graveyard, it is in your opponent's. So they can get it back with it's triggered ability, you can't.
Also, Rise from the Grave can target a creature in ANY graveyard, yours or your opponents. So it doesn't matter whose graveyard the card is in.
The Pharaoh might have been exiled from your opponent's graveyard, but the Trove doesn't stop things from going back into your opponent's graveyard.
Oh wow, I was hoping this set would provide some new toys for my Alesha Commander deck. And very happy to say this does not disappoint. Quite a lot of potential, will need to see how it plays.
Shapers' Sanctuary triggers when your creature becomes the target of a spell or ability your opponent controls. So even if your creature gains hexproof or shroud afterwards, that doesn't change the fact that they WERE targeted by something, that already caused the Sanctuary to trigger.
By the time that your opponent could activate Sylvan Safekeeper, the Sanctuary trigger is already on the stack.
You choose the order the two abilities go onto the stack, but you still control both abilities, even if you lose control of the creature that caused them to trigger.
So even if you gave away your Akroan Horse/Eater of Days combined monstrosity, you would still control the Eater of Days ability, so you would skip your next two turns ability.
Similarly, even if you gave away your Akroan Horse/Phage combined monstrosity, you would still control Phage's ability. And as you didn't cast it, you put them onto the battlefield combined with Grusilda, you would lose the game.
Well as we are dealing with the world of Silver Border, then there are no official rules regarding either scenario. The closest you could get to an 'official' ruling would be to ask Maro, the Head 'Judge' when it comes to Silver Border world.
And a lot of the Silver Border rules come down to flavour/feel of the interaction, and how your play group wants to handle the situation.
However from the wording on Grusilda and the 'ruling', the creatures are only Combined while on the battlefield. They might leave the battlefield together, but once they have left the battlefield, they are no longer melded together. So would be counted as different objects.
So with Chandra and Liliana, my 'ruling' would be that you get only the planeswalker back that had it's ability actually trigger the transformation. So you would get Liliana back if a non-token creature died. And would get Chandra back if you used it's tap ability. The other would just sit in exile.
Same with the Meld pairs. The combine monstrosity is exiled by whichever Meld ability happens, along with the other half of the Meld combo. But only the Meld pair comes back, the other half of the original Combined creature remains in exile.

Sorry, a 9/9? Keredekt Leviathan is only a 5/5.
Everything else is absolutely correct, as always. Just wanted to clear up the little typo.

What is the source on this by the way?
Second +1? Dovin doesn't have a second +1, his second ability is -1.
I like this take on a planeswalker. Especially in these colours, gives him a rather unique feeling.
