Whoa, I missed a lot! Sorry for my absence... I was back in Calgary for the Stampede and to see some people. Lots of drinking, partying, and general fun that I'll tell more about when I have less posts to reply to!
For now, just the crowning moment of craziness. So I went to my favourite comic book shop to buy some stuff that I was behind on. My bill came to like $60 and I put it on debit... only to have it come up "insufficient funds." I was a little confused (as was my buddy who works there and is used to me spending $150+ at a time) so I went over to the bank to sort it out. When I got to the teller, she informed me that my account had been locked with a note to contact the branch manager. She asked if I'd wait for a minute while she went and got him. A few minutes later, the manager walks out and asks me if I could join him in his office. Uh oh.
It turns out that I had done graphic design for an autobody company in Calgary that was linked with some gangs in the city. Since it was just a contract job, they cut me a cheque and that's how our accounts got linked. So the branch manager asked if he had permission to release my banking info to the police and I was allowed to carry on with my day. Needless to say, it was a weird and nervewracking experience.
haha I'm definitely a Romosexual! He's incredibly handsome and a great QB! I'm pretty excited about our team. Our offense looks better than ever! I'm also hoping that our defense and OL can keep it together. At times we looked unstoppable last year. Then at times (@Vikings) we looked like absolute crap!
I think your defense will stay solid but I have some doubts about the OL. The good thing is that the Cowboys are maturing every year as they get more experience under their belts. I'm also a big Longhorns fan so I'm thrilled to see Roy Williams (the WR) on a team that suits his play style and I think that if he and Romo can build some chemistry, they'll be deadly.
I love "wench"! It's a great word. I'm also a huge fan of "Beat it, toots" but I so rarely get to use it. Outdated slang is so fun. Speaking of...

Not only did she remember that it was my favourite but she offered to pick some stuff up for me! Haha, I sent her in just to tell the guys that work there that I'm still alive (I used to see them every Wednesday since I was 15 so we're sort of friends) and to hold some stuff for me. So I went and saw The Last Airbender and... wow, what a complete pile of ****. Normally I'm not so harsh on movies but not only was this a flaming bag of poop, but it also completely neglected all the things that made the original cartoon amazing. They butchered the names, changed key plot points, and completely neglected the messages of tolerance and equality (among races AND sexes) for some special effects. Boooooo... so disappointed
To Purple- I just saw Toy Story 3 last weekend and I have to admit, it was AWESOME I loved it It just dealt with Toy Story's entire story arc absolutely perfectly

Trenton: NPH is amazing and I'm glad he's gay and out of the closet. I think it's funny his character on HIMYM is a ladies man/uber player. But I would still like to see him do something substantial (I liked Sing Along Blog but I need him to do something amaaaazzzziiiing)
Sing Along Blog was SO good... I thought it was amaaazzziiiing, in fact! After all, it's Joss Whedon and Nathan Fillion... how could it not be? Not to mention that the songs were fun, it was the perfect amount of camp and the girl they cast was really cute.
People say it's hard to believe gay/straight actors in roles of the opposite orientation, but I think those two prove otherwise. Of course, in reality, most straight roles are played by gay actors and many gay roles are played by straight actors, but I think these two really showed the dichotomy well.
I think the reason NPH is so effective as a straight man/player is because he's a hyperbole of the archetype. Similar to how Colbert is such a great Conservative because he's so liberal. They recognize the fundamental characteristics of the thing that they're pretending to be and shape a character around that core.
Did either of you two see the episode of Glee that NPH was featured on? Not only is it hilarious, but he also sings an amazing version of Aerosmith's Dream On. If that isn't enough to sell you on it, he also has a hysterical scene with Sue Sylvester (who is played by Jane Lynch, who is also gay) that's full of awkward sexual tension. SO funny.

Now, that said; I do enjoy "sneaking" PDAs. Holding hands while sitting really close next to each other on a bench or on a bus so no one can tell; rubbing their leg under a table; even sneaking a kiss when out in public, but no one else is around/can see us at the moment. Has nothing to do with being "ashamed" (which some exes have accused me of, which I always found to be mildly humorous and ironic), or that I get off on the thrill of maybe being caught. I just like having those little intimate moments spontaneously, yet still privately. I dunno, I'm weird like that.
