Dec 13, 2010I think it's too slow to be of much use. Decks with creatures tend to prefer creature removal that doesn't destroy your own creature and isn't too obvious. Decks with sweepers tend not to have disposable creatures, just a few big/scary ones to win with. Decks with tokens have 1/1 tokens.Posted in: Custom Card Creation
Good creative idea though.

Firebomb Barrage 3RR
Firebomb Barrage deals 3 damage to each of up to three target creatures and/or players.

Legendary Creature - Snake
Flash, first strike, deathtouch
Whenever a creature dealt damage by Ydoem this turn is put into a graveyard from play, you may draw a card.
"Friend of Ydoem" -Elvish saying for "unlucky one"
Success isn't final. Failure isn't fatal.
Jan 12, 2010Forbearance 2WWPosted in: Custom Card Contests and Games
As Forbearance comes into play, name a color.
Your opponents can't play cards of the named color.
Each opponent's maximum hand size is reduced by four.
Next: Soulgorger Orgg in white.

T: Add 1 to your mana pool. Flip a coin. If you win the flip, untap Ephmeral Starstone.
Supposedly this series converges to 1, but it gives me a headache to figure out the EV.
Erratic Starstone 4
T: Roll a six-sided die twice. Add X colorless mana to your mana pool, where X is the higher value rolled or the value rolled if both rolls have the same value. If both rolls have the same value, sacrifice Erratic Starstone. Play this ability only any time you could play an instant.
Should give an EV of 4.472.
(Sum(i=1 to 6) [i*(2i-1)]) / 36)
It has a 1/6 chance to be sacrificed upon use.
Hermetic Starstone 4
You may flip a coin rather than pay Hermetic Starstone's mana cost. If you win the flip, Hermetic Starstone comes onto the battlefield tapped. If you don't, put it into its owner's graveyard.
T: Add 2 to your mana pool.

T: Add B or R to your mana pool. Spend this mana only to play black or red spells.
Jan 9, 2007Green mana pumpage = board commitment of small mana creatures = die more and lose more to Pyroclasm Wrath of Damnation. It's not like we have Bonesplitter to play around with on BoPs and such.Posted in: New Card Discussion
Jan 9, 2007It depends on the viability of a monogreen or mostly-green aggro deck. Monored could use Ball Lightning and variants (firecats, etc) because it had massive burns to go with it. Green is getting nice creatures too, but it lacks lasting one-mana 2/1 and 3/3 for two mana that the normal aggro+burn decks like Zoo or Sligh have. Green also doesn't have burn, and that GGG is a big commitment to green.Posted in: New Card Discussion

Also, Gaervac makes cool cards.
Whenever a creature attacks or blocks, it gets +1/+1 until end of turn for each other attacking or blocking creature its controller controls.
Whenever a creature card is put into a graveyard from play, return it to play at the end of its controller's next turn.
Dec 29, 2006Silken Aetherbridge 2UPosted in: Custom Card Contests and Games
When Silken Aetherbridge comes into play, draw a card.
Whenever a player attacks with three or more creatures, all attacking creatures phase out.
Two is company, but three...
A blue card that incurs card disadvantage in combat. But it must not suck.
