If i were you I wouldn't be too concerned about giving other people cards. I've been playing a "bear hug" Multani deck for a couple of years now and it has definitely earned the respect of my playgroup. Green is king when it comes to mana production, so you should have the best capacity to play out the extra cards you are drawing. Shroud is such a huge ability for a creature as big as Multani, especially when combined with a haste enabler, Akroma's Memorial being my favorite. Shroud means your opponents' spot removal is useless, haste means that Multani is virtually Wrath proof, and green means you probably have expendable creatures to dodge Edict effects. I've come to find that Evacuation and Cryptic Command are pretty much the only type of cards that slow him down. The deck routinely produces somewhere in excess of 150 mana, draws practically the entire deck, and attacks for enough damage to require the exponent function of a calculator to determine it.

Here's a link to my specific deck. Hope this provides you some pointers.

Azusa, Lost but Seeking looks very similar to my gf so i picked her as my general. (Who would be a better general of your EDH deck than your significant other!)

She is a beautiful foil as well. Azusa, that is.

Momir Vig would be a great place to start for Descendants' Path.dec. I've seen plenty of tribal Vig lists as it is, but the changeling cards seem good with the Path on their own. I'm sure with a handful of tweaks the deck could be quite good.

I don't think the deck "needs" the Refuge but I can imagine scenarios when it could be very powerful, especially once you have the mana shenanigans rolling. I originally wrote it off as a color intensive Winding Canyons with a slight upside (as far as this deck is concerned), but I think that was a bit hasty. More often than not it be just another tool to improve the control aspect of the deck if a bit redundant beside Teferi and/or Aluren. The fact that it is a land and doesn't take up a deck slot, is fetchable with Prime Titan and is otherwise difficult to interact with, make it a fine inclusion. I'm planning on playing it alongside Cavern of Souls to sum up my AVR changes.

Just a little update: So far Tamiyo, the Moon Sage has done pretty well for herself in our testing. Our playgroup was witness to her power in a U/B control deck last night where she did a great impression of a must-answer Icy Manipulator (though at times she would seemingly lock down 2 permanents since they don't untap). We had a good laugh when she got up to her ultimate with a Psychatog on board...to say he was big would be an understatement.

I run 40 of each of the Zendikar full-art lands by John Avon. They look nice but I'm hoping to make the switch to Guru's soon .

I've been considering making the switch to White KMC supers w/ perfect fits. Any pros/cons that you can provide? I'm currently running Black KMC sleeves w/ perfects (the same ones I've had for ~2.5 years) and they're starting to look like hell.

My cube was at 450 for the longest time and I agree that it provides a fairly ideal drafting environment if you can consistently get a full 8 as it strikes the delicate balance of power vs. variance. I recently made the drop to 360 because it has been getting harder to fill up a draft around here, mostly because of my very limited availability, and I want to be able to see the cards that I want to play on as much of a regular basis as possible. If they keep printing ridiculous cards, I may have to jump back up (It kills me that I don't have room for Slayers' Stronghold :-/, for example).

Thanks for the shoutout and congrats on your inhuman post count. I've always looked to your cube thread for advice and I'm sure I speak for most everyone in commending you as an indispensable asset and figurehead of the MTGS cube community (and really the community at large). I still plan to take you up on coming down to Tucson to do some cubing at some point; hopefully in the near future. Just need to find some time. Thanks again for everything.

I concur with Rant and Fredo.

    1) Mox Jet

    2) Mana Drain

    3) Sword of Light and Shadow

Oh and for the sake of playing by the rules:

    1) Tinker: Potential for Finkel DNA harvesting.

    2) Wrath of God: Efficient X-1 with no other devoted white control cards in the pack, hopefully pushing the people to your left away from said archetype.

    3) Lightning Bolt: I'm guilty of pushing the mono red (or at least heavy red with a splash) archetype. Looks like we may get a decent wheel card with either the Geopede or, more than likely, Vandals.

You guys missed a very key distinction with regards to the pick order: that particular Tinker was once in the hands of Jon Finkel, I'm pretty sure that makes it always the pick. Hell, I'd p3p1 that Tinker and go into blue with the hopes of gleaning some Finkel DNA from it.

    Tamiyo + Hedron Crab trolololololololol

Why yes, I will ancestral recall for every land drop.

Then Fetchland = Contract from Below with no drawback...pretty sick.

Iname, Death Aspect, because Evergreen has already got that one on lock. It'd be a straight up shameless netdeck. That deck, however, is a thing of beauty.

Both of these evaluations are off. When you create a good Gifts split, they don't have a choice. Liliana is discard when you want it, and an edict when you want it. If it allowed them to choose which effect went off, it would be complete garbage.

Not to mention that both of these cards provide, at the very least, potential for card advantage. Sure your opponent chooses what cards you keep in the case of Gifts, but you get to choose which cards you present to them, often leaving them as wtwlf said, without much of a choice or in some cases with an inevitability. Liliana plays out much the same; you choose to activate the most relevant loyalty ability, leaving your opponent to choose only how best to mitigate their losses.
