I am looking for some insight on a couple things about ANT. Firstly is dark petition vs grim tutor. In my initial testing I find I like grim tutor a lot more but I am also relatively new to the deck, so it's very possible I am entirely missing lines of play though.
My second question is side board. Caleb Scherer has 2 extra tendrils of agony and 3 chrome mox in board but I haven't seen it in any others. So in a way I am looking for the best sideboard ideas and explanations.
my pool was marginal at best, the only rare i ended up being able to play was aethersquall ancient with no real energy cards to support him. I still went 3-1, the loss being in the finals to a guy who was on his first ever prerelease. He also happened to have verdurous gearhulk, aetherwind basker, aethertide whale, insidious will, 2 nature's way, monstrous onslaught, and all the little support guys to go with it. He also had, but didn't play, gonti's aether heart.
The format seemed pretty fun over all but that sealed pool in the finals was legit one of the best pools i've ever seen. I honestly think a caveman could pilot that pool. not to slight my opponent of course, he seemed like a decent player.
The wholesale price is about 145 or so to my knowledge, been trying to talk some people down from the msrp. The reasoning is probably because last MM was less at msrp and wizards got $0 of the price hike. So they raised msrp.
I have a signed The Dark Blood Moon and have been trying to find its relative value. Is there a site or just a rule of thumb when pricing older or hard to find signed cards? Thanks in advance.
Playing Ob Nixilis in 4 player. Moderately advanced board state. Opponent attacks with kaalia puts in iona. Chooses me and names black. I proceed to tell him He is dead on my turn. Untap, Cast Hall of triumph and Caged sun. Attack for exacts.
Sealed red. Promo, Ob nixillis, Scuttling scumbag, hoarding dragon, hushwing gryff, spectra ward, yavimaya coast. Played red black with two evolving wilds and three lightning strikes. Two nightfire giants also did tons and tons of work. Went 3-1 I lost round three to drawing thirteen lands out of the seventeen cards I saw. Played an extra game and crushed. Prize packs were nothing impressive for me, but I had two friends each pull a Garruk out of prize.
Green and red are the most powerful colors imho. One friend chose red and had 3 seige wurms and chord. He went 4-0. Another friend chose black, had hornet queen. Went 3-1 (lost to the 4-0 friend)
I will probably play another one today, I find the format relatively fun. There were some actual games of magic that didn't involve thoughtseize/packrat.
Drafting this is super amounts of fun. I saw 2 foil brainstorms opened. I found tyrant's choice to be grossly good. 4 each opponent for 2? this happened in all three of my drafts. Think it will see legacy play?
I have had to correct and have been corrected from both sides of the spectrum. I think that simply asking them should suffice, if the person keeps at it, call a judge. I would at least.
Last resort? Find them in the parking lot later.... Just kidding. Try not to resort to violence.
The images from the twitter accounts definitely overlap to make one image that appears to be Dack. To me it does appear to be comic style for dack, but not for the rest of the image. I don't have the comics to scour them for answers though. I rotaded the images 180 and it makes more sense to me that way.

Wanderer, cascade (1), cascade (2).
second cascade hits bloodbraid and you choose to cast it.
Wanderer, cascade (1), bloodbraid, cascade from bloodbraid
then resolve in usual order starting with bloodbraid cascade and word backwards to wanderer.
