It's a shame, I like a lot of keywords on the list, they all ended up with 5~8 level even when they very well could be used in other planes. I hope those keywords would show up in non-standard formats now that Modern Horizon is a thing.

In EDH, a group game with lots of artifact and enchantment, it gotta be casted with careful planning.

Cowards can't block life loss triggers either.

I wish combat is more supported in EDH than it is right now. A lot of time your opponents aren't even playing creatures.

I once combined Repercussion with opponent-gets-creature cards like Varchild's War-Riders/Forbidden Orchard to force opponent to block my attackers, therefore deal damage to opponent directly (quadrupled, via cards like Furnace of Rath after each transfer), while I gain life via attacking to compensate.

City of Heroes was a supreme MMO, so much character design, even the same “class” could be modified into your personal uniqueness. Healing with darkness (via damage) plays very differently from healing with radiation (mutates your target while you heal), tanking with Will Power too plays differently from Super Strength, the list could go on.

And Mastermind, Warshade, Widows, etc, that game allows you to play true hybrid in YOUR own way. I cannot complain.

These decks are designed for people who’re new to Standard, not veterans who want to collect more rates/mythical.

If we look at the traditional tank/healer/dps triangle, I imagine your style would be very different depending on which mana you "tap" into. For examples:

    W: Traditional/protection tank.
    U: Dodge/avoidance/illusion tank.
    B: Life drain tank.
    R: Mobile/agile/anti-WU tank.
    G: Regeneration/buffing tank.

So a Rakdos tank might stay alive with its life draining and has various ways to disrupt an opponent's skills/defense (discard).

    Healer wise:

    W: Traditional/protection healer.
U: Provide illusion/counterspell to ward teammates.
B: Blood drain, undeath (temporarily invulnerable/unkillable).
R: Healing via damage, provides teammate the ability to become more powerful because of damage (berserking).
    G: Regeneration/buffing healer.

A Boros healer might act like Lightning Helix on legs (literally), and a Rakdos healer might go with Vampiric Link and Reckless Charge.

It was on the twitch stream, but I can't find the link right now.
    To summarize it:

    1) It took him 9 months to write the book.
    2) The book will have 12 POVs and almost 100 named characters.
    3) We will see all 10 guilds in the book. Some will be more fleshed out, some less.
    4) Teyo Verada will be one of the main characters. As a novice planeswalker, he will serve the purpose of a plot device to explain things from his point of view.
    5) Another female character whose name sounds similar to "Rat" will have a connection to Teyo. We will know more about her very soon, maybe this weekend.
    6) Expect the alliance between Karn, Ob Nixilis and Dack Fayden. And more weird alliances.
    7) Chandra will survive since her comic takes place after the War.
    8) Not all planeswalkers are as lucky as Chandra.

The book will be released at April, 23.

Gah, Dack would steal all the Legacy if he lived back in the days!

I wonder how many Colors you could master. Beyond 3 is Rare after all in Magic.
I wonder if its breadth versus depth ie only enough skill points or whatever to go deep into two but you can trade focus for versatility by dipping into other colors.
Could Tie Classes to Color Pairs I suppose...Racial Bonuses. I mean Humans, Elves, Leonin, Vampires, Kor, Merfolk?

It’s also possible that if you go three colors you’ll also get a main color (being your core) while the other two are weaker be comparison.

Given City of Heroes, I can see us players each has a combination of abilities derived from multiple “sets” or colors in MtG term, as our core abilities. Players who invest in extra white are likely better tanks, for example. Each color should have pet class abilities similar to that of a Mastermind in CoH.

I say this because I love CoH and this MtG mmo might bring back familiar elememts I so craved!

I wonder, will us play as PWs or will us once again *cough* be stuck on Ravnica? Not that it’s a bad plane, but I prefer traveling multiverse.

I wish the Enchant Worlds had different rules... so weird that playing one will destroy the one already in play. "I play this broken enchantment I build my deck around, oh, and I destroy yours in the process."

Don't you think that's precisely why World Enchantment should have that rule, because they affect the game greatly? It allows WotC to design strong enchantment without people using multiple copies of the same "broken" card.

Put target permanent card from an opponent's graveyard onto the battlefield under its owner's control. For the rest of the turn, whenever an ability controls by that player triggers, gain control of that ability. You may choose new targets for those abilities.

There is anything more on the two GS walkers than their bios? Because I have no idea where you are getting this info from.

What I recalled was that the boy Yanggu thought her a deity in the story, but after searching again I couldn't find the info, and even if that's the case she wasn't a true deity either (despite being a PW is like being a god). I likely remembered it wrong.

I mean Lili is especially dense when it comes to demon/dragon pacts.
Its been a frequent question for Brandon Sanderson, about Davriel and what he would think about Liliana and her contracts. When you read the book you start to understand why the question is asked quiet a bit.

Will be entertaining to see what set of abilities they give him with WAR.

Who knows, Davriel might make a good pair with Tibalt.
