just remove destructive revelry and they wont have any good answer to burnhatecards. Seems like its the only card you can remove from their 75 to actually give them a harder game. They will nearly always have a turn 4 kill, but G2 and G3 its the only card that they have that removes hatecards and at the same time dont make them lose any tempo.
just the fact they printing this card, will probably mean tron will fade abit away - as its that good and easy to splash for. doing a small splash for red shouldnt hurt too much in the green version, since im asuming youre running utopia sprawl. just put in a singleton stomping ground, and it should be enough.
@Mewtwo I run Starfield as well as assemble the legion. I just dont feel like another 5 drop, where i have to invest even more mana in before it does anything isnt as good as cards that combos incredibly with storage matrix - stalls hastecreatures like titan or goblin guide, and even delays twin by a turn, making it possible to even wrath the twincombo out - though more often than not suppression field or ghostly prison or even sphere takes care of it.
dont really like sigil, ST seems really bad. Ive had decent success with Blind obedience. Playing it as a 4 of and its really rare i find it as a bad card.
Nothing is wrong with asking your opponent to play faster if hes playing slow. In a LGS at first you might seem like that nasty guy who always hurrys people on, but as time passes on people will usually realise that youve just been helping them. Most people with linear decks are not used to being rushed to play faster because theyre used to finish in time. If anything try approaching them in a nice way of doing it. Theres several guides tips and tricks to how to play your turn faster. In any case, if you feel bad asking your opponent to play faster, and the result is bad for both of you, youve only got yourself to blame as he might not be aware of it himself. At FNM it might not be a big deal - but at GPs etc this will cost you ALOT.
In my experience with ALOT of durdleslow decks like this one - I've noticed alot of people complaining about going into time /drawing. For what ive noticed is; if you tend to go into time alot, its usually your own fault because you play slow. Its VERY rare i go into time, but when it actually happens, its 99% of the time because i play with THAT slow guy at the shop or vs inexperienced players who has no clue whats going on. Time is not an issue tbh (though with 40mins rounds you could be a bit on the edge in 3rd game if all three are grindy) but normally with 50min you should be done 10-15mins before time with the 3rd game - even against hard slow control.
ehh, i thought everyone who splashed red had that as a 2off as a minimum autoinclude :S if not red i can recommend faiths reward, slightly more expensive, but you dont cast either till turn 5+ usually.
PW and ghostly prison is a nonbo though. unless you have sphere or bridge nothing is really protecting him. a 2/2 is nothing if they have a full board of creeps that cant attack you, but free of charge PW to kill nom nom.
could just run lifegift no? its probably more reliable since enemy fetches nets you 2 life. Though i would think blind obedience is better in generel..
