Speaking of which, how would you rank the three UR walkers (Ral Zarek, Dack Fayden, and Saheeli) in 400 powered? I’m trying to cut one to reduce planeswalker density in Izzet
For me its Dack Fayden >>> Saheeli (the gifted) > Ral Zarek (> Saheeli Rai).
Also cast my votes. While I usually don't participate in the discussion, I always enjoy reading what all of you contribute to this wonderful community.
While a bit offtopic: I would really suggest anyone who is unsure about how much difference there is between CC vs 1C, or similar affairs to read this excellent article by Frank Karsten.
While you will almost never build "sufficient" mana bases in cube, it does give a nice understanding how many sources you need. The article also contains nice tables for reference.
With how Ezuri gains and distributes counters, Doubling Season and Primal Vigor are just stupid broken with Hangarback Walker or anything like it, as just a few XP counters dropping +1/+1 counters can add a lot of tokens to the Hangarback's death trigger which will be further doubled by either of those enchantments adding 4 times your current XP counters back into the pool, with Doubling Season doubling that again for 8 times (did you have 5 XP tokens at the beginning of combat? You drop 10 +1/+1 counters, which turns into 20 more Thopters, and then 40 more XP tokens; assuming just Doubling Season is in play).
You could almost seriously use Champion of Lambholt as a win condition in this deck as a result of that synergy.
I am pretty sure that Doubling Season will not double the XP-counters, since they are placed on you, not on a permanent.
(It is obviously still pretty good with Ezuri, just not THAT good^^)
Why did noone mention Gavony Township yet?
Seems like a natural fit, we are already in GW/x and it is good alone,
and bonkers with Hardened Scales.
5 mana is a lot for an aggro deck. I think that is why. It could work in a midrange build build, though. The problem is a midrange version of this deck probably wouldn't be very good.
Most of the decks mentioned in this thread play between 21-24 lands and not to many cards with double colored mana requirement, so one or two colorless sources woudn't hurt the manabase to hard.
Also this deck will not win every game before the 5th round, so including a card that will not have a significant drawback and helps you in some cases doesn't sound to bad, in my opinion.

Killing one attacker and flashing in a blocker seems quite strong.

Are you serious? This would be busted as a 3/3, they would never print that, let alone in a standard legal set.
