Don't like it. The floor is really bad, and the ceiling, while incredible, relies on having other cards.
Compare that to cards like Hero of Bladehold. The floor is the same, but if you get to untap you don't need anything else for the Hero to be good.
It can recur lands from your 'yard, or all of the typical recursion sources like Crucible, Excavator and Wrenn and Six.
I think there are many interesting play lines to grow him.
Also note that (if the translation is correct) you can grow him by losing life yourself. So Shockland + Thoughtsieze/Gitaxian Probe or a Dismember will grow him. Granted that probably won't happen to often, but I like the versatility.
I played around 18 games with the deck.
Hexdrinker was easily the best card in the deck. Often the best line was to simple play it, and level it as fast as possible, and watch the opponent die. Dropping this on an already developed board and directly leveling it to level 3 was also highly relevant. Knowing which removal spells your opponent plays obviously makes the decision when to level a lot easier.
The reaction of my playgroup was mostly "damn is this pushed", if you ever had to play against TNN + any clone you can imagine how such a game plays out.
I can easily see first picking this card and being pulled into green by it.
(For reference I play a 405 card cube that plays anything powerful besides: AB Moxen, Black Lotus, Sol Ring, Mana Crypt, Time Walk and Ancestral Recall)
For me its Dack Fayden >>> Saheeli (the gifted) > Ral Zarek (> Saheeli Rai).
Killing one attacker and flashing in a blocker seems quite strong.
While a bit offtopic: I would really suggest anyone who is unsure about how much difference there is between CC vs 1C, or similar affairs to read this excellent article by Frank Karsten.
https://www.channelfireball.com/articles/frank-analysis-how-many-colored-mana-sources-do-you-need-to-consistently-cast-your-spells/
While you will almost never build "sufficient" mana bases in cube, it does give a nice understanding how many sources you need. The article also contains nice tables for reference.
Are you serious? This would be busted as a 3/3, they would never print that, let alone in a standard legal set.
I am pretty sure that Doubling Season will not double the XP-counters, since they are placed on you, not on a permanent.
(It is obviously still pretty good with Ezuri, just not THAT good^^)
Most of the decks mentioned in this thread play between 21-24 lands and not to many cards with double colored mana requirement, so one or two colorless sources woudn't hurt the manabase to hard.
Also this deck will not win every game before the 5th round, so including a card that will not have a significant drawback and helps you in some cases doesn't sound to bad, in my opinion.
Seems like a natural fit, we are already in GW/x and it is good alone,
and bonkers with Hardened Scales.
