When are we expecting his spoiler? I hope we don't have to wait till the week before...
My guess is he will be spoiled early next week as he is one of the few remaining mythics to be revealed. Usually the week of the prerelease the full set is spoiled so people can have an idea of the cards going into the prerelease.
I enjoy that it is Hexproof over trample. I do see it as more of an EDH card than anything, but it gave me a couple deck ideas for casual to play with.
As far as discard-related abilities go,
I still like my first idea best-
"Whenever an opponent discards a card, exile it.
You may play cards exiled with Phenax using any color of mana."
(not sure how to word this so it allows both land stealing and casting with any color)
That would be interesting. A possible wording: You may put any card exiled in this way into play, using any mana for its cost. Lands don't cost anything to play, so you could play them
I'll likely be on both for a time, determining which would be better suit me. That said, I'd likely go to Nexus in the end to reduce the likelihood of this happening to me again
