Looking back at BNG,
each god shows up in the seeded pack for the color on the left side of the card frame.
If they continue this in JOU, it will be:
Athreos- White
Keranos- Blue
Pharika- Black
Iroas- Red
Kruphix - Green
If this is true I am definitely going white at the prerelease. Overall, white and black are my favorite of the promos. Given the amount of fun bestow effects in white I think it will have the one of the stronger chances in JOU than the others.
I see White, Black, and Green being the most played packs in the Prerelease based on promo.
White: The card is awesome. It does a lot, and will be a force if not dealt with.
Black: Contrary to your opinion, I find the black promo to be very good. Consider for a moment the number of enchantments in this entire block. Several enchantments are very cheap and being able to drop one or two will be very strong. IF you get Pharika then you can have instant speed -1/-1 in combat based on mana the number of creatures in your graveyard.
Green: If you get the cards to build a ramp deck and this to go with it it is good night for an opponent. Otherwise he provides a good mana sink while alive.
If there is only one more Mythic to be revealed I think the chances of it being RG are high, mainly to bring the Mythic color distribution close to equal.
That would give RG three mythic rares versus 1 for BR BG and RW I don't see that at all. If it's mono, mono green. I wish I could get an answer on whether or not the rarity distribution is the same as born.
I'm not sure how born disproved the multicolour mythic cycle
It is just my thought based on the mythic color break down. If it went towards the one of the three pairs you mention, it would weigh the mythic color distribution towards B or W, and why would it make sense for either of those colors to appear on 13 mythic rates where R or G only appear on 10, thus giving B or W more access to a mythic? As I said, this is just my thoughts on the matter.
Color break down of Mythic Rares from Theros Block (including spoiled and known ones [the unspoiled gods]):
Black: 12
White: 12
Blue: 11
Green: 10
Red: 10
This count was obtained by just looking at the colors appearing on each mythic. With the cards in the Spoiler and two unspoiled gods that will come in at the Mythic level we will have 9 Mythics in JOU (5 gods, Ajani, and the three spoiled mono-color mythics). If there is only one more Mythic to be revealed I think the chances of it being RG are high, mainly to bring the Mythic color distribution close to equal.
I don't understand why people are upset. Mill is what UB commonly is given, especially recently. I like the card I want to build around it. I think it would be very effective
Small set means less rare slots means fewer rare slots per color/artifact/land. It would make no sense to cram the other 5 five scry lands into one set while granting an uneven rare distribution. Just calm down.
Some sites have a blank card on display for Phenax, and it shows a cost of UB. It is my opinion that this is just to denote the color of Phenax, as they did the same with Karametra before reveal. I think the cost of Phenax is not actually known yet
Assuming, because of Kiora, blue and green will not get a mono-color mythic. We know Phanex still needs to be revealed, which leaves one open mythic slot. We still have the other 5 artifacts to be spoiled. There was talk that they may be a cycle of rare artifacts that each help a color.
Just wondering but where does it say he Phenax? What I remember from the thing that talked about the Undead was that there were two (or 3, 3rd being just wanderers) factions. One that lived in peace and were merchants... which reminds me of BW. The other were the ones that were bandits/aggressive or whatever which I assume were led (or urged to fight) by the RB legend guy... which obviously brings out the idea of RB, not BU.
So is there any evidence this is not Atheros? We have the dual lands and there is a moon in the background of his picture... but there is also a river and his waste wrap is bluish.
Regardless I feel he is a Returned who become a God (or a God who became returned), not the God of the Returned... besides they wouldn't even know if there was one anyways. (they are all black because that is all they can be, since they are just dead bodies without memories)
Also, the Dual land and the Phenax card indicate assassins (and centaur mills which is a UB thing) but Grey Merchant and Scholar of Atheros are both related to life drain so if they had a god I feel there is more towards him being BW then UB. :/
The trailer mentions Phenax by name, along with the other 3 non-Xenegos gods.
One though I had:
3UB
6/7
Indestructible, devotion U and B 7 or higher
You may play cards from either graveyard as though they were in your hand. You can spend mana as if it were any color to cast spells in the graveyard.
I'll likely be on both for a time, determining which would be better suit me. That said, I'd likely go to Nexus in the end to reduce the likelihood of this happening to me again

The other two are iffy in my opinion.

Also, unsure why this is in speculation
In all seriousness I think you have a point and this will be present in this set. I am curious to see what will happen.
