So I have been playing a Bant Emeria list as of recently. I wanted to really play Renegade Rallier with Titans. What I found was to be something that I really enjoy playing. Would it be alright to post my example list and speak of some of my matches that I had with this list.
Background: When I first got interested in Modern, I tested this deck. I like the idea of being able to hate out the greedy mana base meta. I never gotten around to buying "my own" modern deck. Just basically had a group of guys that let me borrow decks since I was deep in school.
So my question is: Have you guys ever tried a 1 - 2 of Fanatic of Mogis in the deck. I ran him in the Demigod build and it seemed alot of fun. Kind of gave it a combo win. Which I mean, I understand that yeah....It's magical Christmas land kind of card.
If this has already been discussed I do apologize.
Hey everyone, I just bought most of the LEDless Dredge deck in a package deal. I have been interested playing Dredge for years, but was very iffy about making the plunge. Well I finally did and I have my first noob question.
First Noob question: So I do not have Tireless Tribe in my collection but I have Insolent Neonate. What do you guys think of running the neonate over the Tireless Tribe?
Sorry if this question has been asked already. I couldn't find it in the Archive.
I know that in the Southeast Missouri area there is a shop in Poplar Bluff that has some legacy. Though in the SEMO area...magic is kinda weak compared to other areas in the state as I have heard.
I seen that I have zero evasion in my deck. No flying, trample, intimidate, or unblockable. So I'm gonna add either 1 or both of these cards. Herald of Torment and Mogis's Marauder.
Both cards could fit well. I'm going to take out Chief of the Scale, Mana Confluence, Athreos, God of Passage. So I can
give this deck a Mono black aggro feel but have warriors as my main creature type. I'm hoping we get more good warriors next set so then this deck can be all warriors.
Hopefully keeping the dream alive.
For me the reason why I don't didn't incluce Herald of Anafenza or even Soldier of the Pantheon, was that they didn't
get pumped by the Hall of Triumph if we named black which is most of my creatures. Plus they are Soldiers, not warrior (I have a crush on Raiders' Spoils.
They are good cards IMO. Just didn't fit in my synergy. But I would suggest playing around with that, and post your results I would love to hear from you guys if you
play this kind of deck.
Plus another reason why didn't want to play those 2 cards were that they are white mana symbols. Making my mana curve black heavy so I can hit my turn one
dude every time.
Seeing that there is a great need in my heart to play standard after watching for a year. I thought I should come back after taking a break (I played last during the Innistrad/SoM Standard). I've been thinking of what I should play and noticed there is no just B(w) Warrior list here. So here's something I know alot of people maybe thinking about.
Let's start scheming!
Mardu Skullhunter could be really great....or just short of what it needs to do. Attack with a creature,
play this tapped, and get a card out of their hand though sounds awesome in theory. Unless it's something they need in their
graveyard and just blows us out. (I'm looking at you Delve and Reanimator)
Athreos, God of Passage is a cool trick card. It's synergizes very well in this deck through Bloodsoaked Champion
and just being annoying. Getting his devotion may not be relevant, but having either a creature back to hand or having your opponent lose 3
life is cool. I know pick your poison cards aren't usually popular, but with Bloodsoaked Champion it gets weird.
Hall of Triumph: In my personal opinion this card is really cool. In this deck the card is our Bad Moon. Cost 1 more, but if it costed
2 mana...that would be bonkers. We name B Black B with it and go to town.
Whip of Erebos: Whip is whip that whips the whipees into doing the Bearer of the Whip's bidding. Whip it good!
Not much to say about this card. Lifelink for our creatures. Bring one back maybe. Mostly have it in here for representation. This
may move up to two of...or just stay at one.
Raiders' Spoils: This card could be awesome, or just be plum awful. But man does it have some enticing text. Pump all creatures attack,
and if they are a warrior I could Underworld Connections myself. Sure! But I have to land an attack with a Warrior. That may be problematic in
some situations. NEEDS TESTING
Removal: This section needs work I like what I have. But this is based on meta. Which hasn't even started yet.
Sorin, Solemn Visitor I feel is made for this deck. Creatures attacking and gaining life. For this Planeswalker to be any good whatsoever...there
needs to be dudes. This could take the place of our Whip of Erebos, but testing will tell.
Lands: Still working out the kinks with this one. Something I kinda threw together.
Sideboard: Will come soon. Still learning how to post and how things show up on this forum. I already know that Thoughtsieze and more
disruption may be in it. Just in what quantities is still unknown. Maybe even more removal.
tl;dr^: This deck needs testing and most of this is theory. I know that there is already of BW(r) or BW(g) deck threads, but I wanted to see just a
discussion on B(w). So I started one.
Disclaimer: This is my first forum post ever. I'm sorry if this is visually unappealing or just a boring read.

Thanks for the posts guys
Let's start scheming!
4 Bloodsoaked Champion
4 Tormented Hero
4 Chief of the Edge
4 Chief of the Scale
4 Mardu Skullhunter
2 Athreos, God of Passage
2 Ruthless Ripper
3 Hall of Triumph
1 Whip of Erebos
3 Suspension Field
1 Raiders' Spoils
Spells:
2 Boon of Erebos
2 Hero's Downfall

Lands: 22
4 Caves of Koilos
4 Mana Confluence
3 Temple of Silence
2 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth
7 Swamp
2 Plains
Bloodsoaked Champion is the reason I want to try this. This card could be as near and dear
to me as Gravecrawler and Bloodghast were when I played them in standard. Even
though with the somewhat high threat of Anger of the Gods, Drown in sorrow, and even
Death Frenzy. This could be worth it.

Chief of the Edge and Chief of the Scale are cards I can't resist to put these in the rough draft of the
deck. Kinda like half lords themselves. Plus it's awesome devotion to Athreos, God of Passage
