I'm one of those. If I'm playing a one drop it's from the sideboard vs Scapeshift or burn (Spike Feeder).
But, we get a treat in the form of Renegade Krasis. ETB - Put a +1/c on each crea with a +1/c. Sounds good to me.
A card I'm surprised no one is talking about - Savage Summoning. Anything that comes in with a oounter is Bolt-proof. You're not as worried about counterspells. Combat tricks are always fun.

Turn 2 Savage Summoning, Rakdos Cackler / Simic Initiate / Bloodhall Ooze
Turn 3 Renegade Krasis - Cackler is 6/6, Simic Initiate 5/5 or 6/6 / Bloodhall Ooze is 7/7

I did have Deflecting Palms in the side vs Green. Beat early. Let them beat late. Green's died down here but I'm seeing more G/b Constellation. The deck hits right before controllish or mid-range decks have a change to go. I have another version with Mardu Ascendancy and Foundry Street Denizen - it'd be better if I didn't have 12 pain-lands.
Considering Coordinated Assault, Ride Down, and Trumpet Blast. I tested Blast to great effect but dead more often than not.
Anyway, I've drafted that card and played it in standard and Arbor Colossus got punked twice in the same game. Get a 5/6 or 6/7 Tarmagoyf and you've got value.
But it's a mill 1. You get the 2/2 at instant speed. Mind Sculpt does the same. Eh... that's a big mill unless you plan on Delving a lot.
Courser of Kruphix helps, too. Dakra, Courser, and fetch thin out the deck.
I don't know why people are complaining about Anger of the Gods or Bile Blight. You're playing black/blue. We have Thoughtseize and Negate.
I think it needs a finisher.
Defiant Strike, Titan Strength and Gods Willing trigger and draw/scry.

Hardened Scales[/card] to pump faster. Ordeal of Heliod when you're playing other burn or aggro decks.
Devouring Light, Deicide, Kill Shot (eh) for removal.
Abzan Falconer, Ainok Bond-kin for evasion and protection.
The cards are there to make it a thing... now they just have to get there. I wouldn't rule it out - not when Standard's slowing down.
All I can say is test it.
I just played Norin Sisters at a PTQ and other than your lifegain triggers - this deck is such a relief.
And stupid cheap. (well, I had the fetch already. buying .25 cards is awesome vs adding $20 cards to the collection)

It's just a rough idea but I like it a lot. There are some cards I'm considering because right now it's only win condition is Vent Sentinel. Woolly Razorback could get insane. It's the reason I came up with Deck2.

It's more offensive based with Rolling Stones and Wakestone Garygoyle. I was also thinking of using some Convoke (Devouring Light, Cone of Flame) and Masako the Humorless. Stoic Ephemera is a 5/5 flier for three and as long as you don't block with it (or Cinder Wall, a 3/3 for R) you're getting some value.
I need a way to protect the enchantment. And even if they were able to kill it off... I can stall the game with huge defenders. Again, Surgical Extractions in the side to kill off their kill spells. I could probably put in a Cavern of Souls or two. There are 8 Walls, 12 Elementals - eh, not worth it. Aether Vial may be the way to go to avoid counterspells.
I guess I could go the Doran the Seige Tower route but that's already done.
But it may be the way to go because Deck1 Durdles so hard. It does have some good draw, though.
They should put a Prefix "Rant" for the Title.
The life.
How to make them lose life. I hate Sign in Blood because they could draw into answers.
That's why I'm here - posting the deck. I need insight. I'm just now pplaying Modern and don't know all the cards.
Splashing red seems the way to go. I may have to ditch the Apostle/Extract idea.

Hmm... Land - Creeping Tar Pit
I hate that it comes into play tapped but it can take the place of some fetch. I just like the idea of thinning x4 Catacombs even more if needed. if you have a Creeping Tar Pit the most you can get is x3 (unless someone kills it)
But it can get damage though. Abrupt Decay can't touch it.

To get combo pieces quicker with Spoils of the Vault I was thinking of trying the Shadowborn Apostle/Surgical Extraction combo to kill the deck.

Crap. Forgot x4 Surgical Extraction. I don't care what anyone says, I love that card. You get 1 Lightning Bolt. 1 Abrupt Decay. 1 Dark Confidant. 1 Pyroclasm.

The Vials help get everything in when Blood Moon is out. I'm thinking of testing Archangel of Thune just because we can curve into it. (Sisters, Confidant, Xathrid, Ranger, Archangel)
In my mono white and Boros builds I run 3 Vials. It keeps mana free for Mentor of the Meek.
I have no idea why that card isn't used in the deck.
Spirit Bonds and Deputy of Acquittals in play.
Casting Devouring Light, can you tap the Deputy, flash in Quickling, get the 1/1 spirit and tap both to finish casting of Devouring Light?
