How many people are running swords in their 75, or even 60?
EDIT: Also, does anyone have some insights into why UR delver is vastly more popular than RUg with Tarmogoyf? It is because the third colour makes the deck too slow?
Twin sounds almost exactly what you want. It's a tempo deck, you can play less-combo versions (with Snapcasters and Boomerangs/Bolts), and it has counter magic. It's also probably the best combo deck in the format right now.
Your other options are Pod (Melira or Kiki), which have redundancy as well via just being midrange decks when they need to. Playing creatures like Voice for value is what they've switched to.
Awesome. Looking at the lists I think both might be good for me. Ill try Twins first and see if the combo is of my liking, if not, I'll try Pod.
Favorite Playstyle (Aggro, Midrange, Control, Combo): Combo > Control > Aggro

Basically I'm looking for a competitive combo deck. I specifically like combo decks similar to Storm (however i heard its not so competitive anymore) and eggs that take some pre planning, thought and work before going off, unlike, say, twins where its just, have Twins, flash in Pestermite, win (correct me if im wrong).
I also like combo decks with outs, either in the form of redundancy, or counter magic (the saving grace of twins for me).
TL;DR: Id like a competitive combo deck. One that takes a lot of thought and skill to play, and doesn't break at the first sign of resistance, either by redundancy or tempo plays before going off.
I'm assuming Liliana of the Dark Realms has been discussed before but i cant seem to find it. What are the communities thoughts on Lili? She seems like she could be a good engine for pack rats.
Another positive to the W splash is Spear of Heliod. MoW with this out is GG for basically all decks without board sweeps.
EDIT: After playing a bunch of matches with Uw, i really feel like the white splash, while powerful, is really just a "win more" trap. Don't get me wrong, its so, so fun. Bombing a sphinx for 10 cards EoT, then having the mana to wipe the field with 2-3 spheres and drop 2 MoW to have 20 elementals on the same turn is nuts, but at that point, you are likely in a position to win as mono blue anyway.
I think Uw does have its benefits. Specifically i found the spear to be deadly, completely nullifying the weakness of MoW, and spheres are neat too but I wonder if its worth it.
What are everyone's thoughts on using Consuming Aberration as a finisher. By the time you've stabilized enough, this thing would come in massive.
Also, thoughts on a mill win condition, or Duskmantle Guildmage + Jace/some other massive mill card. (Eg, Activate duskmantle twice, then 0 jace for 20)
I was just wondering exactly how competitive some of these decks are? Can they legitimately compete with tier 1 decks or it just a waste of money to even attempt. More specifically, what sort of edge are you giving up by playing these decks? Can it be made up with a skill edge?

Many thanks for your help :).

I was thinking dropping the two Cures for two Lilis'.
