Anger of the Gods isn't very well positioned right now. I don't know why you'd try and splash for a card with 2 colored symbols in its cost, either...

If you want to play BW just play it, there's no need to splash.

He's pretty much the backbone to any game where you want to just resolve a bunch of Souls and win slowly, so yes, he's pretty beneficial.

I printed proxies of the cards which say [See box for actual card] and have no rules text. They basically just look exactly like the card, but in the text box it says that. In the box I have them in clear penny sleeves so they're easy to flip.

That's all there is to it. It was pretty simple to implement. It's not seamless but the only Garruk Relentless I had was a foil and I was not really wanting a random dude with Cheeto fingers flipping it if I could avoid it.

    That'll teach her.

This is sound advice, from an even sounder man.

Despite that, I'd probably go for something a little more classic like a proposal in a theme park or something.

You guys are a little bit young though, I'd highly suggest waiting a little while and living together for a bit. You don't truly know somebody until you live with them. If you can stick around for a year after living with her, you'll probably have the testicular fortitude to stick around for 50~ more years too.

I have both Loxodon Warhammer and Behemoth Sledge in my cube and I haven't seen it be that oppressive. I'll usually draft Warhammer since people in my playgroup underrate it, but even so, it never seems to get the job done for me. It does make it hard for the control decks to find a way to beat me if I hit them a few times, but it always seems to fall off of creatures in pretty short order since the removal in my cube is at a premium.

Granted, lifegain in general has always seemed pretty good to me in peasant. Without super-swingy bombs, getting even 10 life out of a card can warp a game a lot and I can see why people have considered banning these cards.

Or a reprint on Ghost Quarter. Devotion decks get a lot worse without Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx.

I bet these decks get better since they're probably going to get more cards to work with. There's already pretty good hate cards for mono U, (Illness in the Ranks) and mono B is just a race.

I like Reverent Hunter and think it's an awesome card, and it made its way into my cube in short order, but I haven't seen it be particularly good in constructed and that makes me sad.
