I just want to say, that it's been an honor being both a moderator for our lovely EDH community, as well as an admin. And I'm also sorry to you all that in a lot of ways, I've failed you in that role, by not being able to secure the resources that we as a community deserve. That being said, I wouldn't be stepping down and moving to our new project if I didn't truly believe it will be a resource that the MTG and especially the EDH community truly does deserve.
I certainly can't fault anyone who chooses to remain on MTGS. It has been most of our home for many years, and for me at least, it will always hold a special place in my heart. However, I do hope that those of you who are interested, or are maybe even just on the fence, will be willing to at least give us a chance. I won't be available here, but I am absolutely always open to suggestions for ways to improve your experience, and that's a front I largely have failed in being able to provide here. But I intend to change that going forward, and my inbox there will always be open.
So with that said, to those of you I will see going forward, I can't wait. And to those who will be staying here, it's been an absolute honor.
Can anyone tell me what the maximum image size in px for the signature is?
I can recall that it will scale the image down, if it's unproportionally big, but i haven't found any details in the forums.
Reason is, i'd like to craft a farewell sig for when MTGS goes to read only.

I'm assuming they are talking about the deck builder. In which case, yes, it's something we'd like to have. It isn't something we can do by launch, due to the time frame we're working within, but it's definitely something we'd like to expand in to, if able.
I can't really say I'm a fan. I much prefer Vancouver. It still gives some saving grace to not being punishing in EDH without any of the hand-sculpt aspects of Partial Paris or London, where you get to choose what you want to keep rather than it being a random element.
With the announcement that the site is closing down, we should try and find another place to congregate and keep discussions going. It would be a shame to lost contact with all of you wonderful people.

That being said, I'd like to reassure you all that you'll be in good hands. Cryo and myself, and the rest of the staff that will be coming on this new journey with us want to deliver the absolute best experience for you all possible. That's why we've asked for thoughts, ideas, and opinions here because we value and love this community so deeply.
I promise two things: first that as long as I am a part of the new site I will strive to make it at a minimum what we had here, and secondly that based on what we have discussed so far I think it will be even better in the long run.
Cyrogen and I will quite literally give up the EDH forums over our dead bodies.
I could never support conceding only at sorcery speed as a rule, because I auto-concede to resolving cards like Thieves' Auction. Sure, I could just wait and concede on my turn, but that prevents the issue of me not wanting my cards mixed up with other players cards like that, due to some previous bad experiences (losing some very expensive cards to PuG players). As long as relevant triggers would otherwise go off (example, attacking someone with effects that give card draw or life gain on damage), concede whenever. It's one less person to worry about for the win.
To be honest, I'm not 100% sure if the Harpooner is good enough. I mostly molded this off of the competitive lists with some minor edits on the stax elements. It ultimately probably isn't, but it's a really cool card I don't think sees much play, so I'd at least like to give it a shot. That said, I will probably swap it with, maybe something like Elvish Visionary if it doesn't actually do much. However, it is a tutorable way to kill a few very annoying generals in my meta even without getting pumped, which isn't super easy to come by in green.
