I always had an eye on Mogis.
I just have two questions:
- With all the punish effects don't you draw the hate of the whole table?
- What are your wincons? Commander damage?
I have played an Omnath, Locus of Mana deck for a long time.
The most popular builds in my opinion are a token strategy or a one-big-mana-turn strategy.
I play the latter.
It is basically:
- ramp a lot
- find a mana doubler
- find card draw
- (hopefully) end the game with one turn in which you have access to A LOT of mana
I have been following this thread for a while now and I am wondering how often do you play your commander and what creatures do you normally sacrifice?
I had a lot of dragon decks over the years because DRAGONS!
Since my meta became more competitive I was looking for a "competitive" dragon deck and finally decided to build Scion.
Basically it consists of ways to one-shot players and to combo off. Whenever I played it it NEVER felt like a dragon deck at all but rather a (IMHO boring) combo deck.
I am on the brink of changing Scion back to my Jund goodstuff dragon tribal. Or maybe I should remove all combos from Scion and play him as a ramp into dragons deck...
I'm hoping for a return to Thrulls, Thallids, Orcs, and Homarids -- all the most powerful and popular tribes of Fallen Empires!
There's tons of room for customization -- I mean, you could have some Orggs too in the red deck, or Camarids in the blue deck, or...
I totally support this!
I am a great fan of the Fallen Empires tribes too and am currently running a Thelon of Havenwood fungus tribal deck.
I would love to see more Thallids!
I would be thrilled to see new Homarids since there are only six so far and I think they have the pontential to be a really interesting tribe!
From the latest dragons I already included Skyline Despot as another means to improve the card draw. Glorybringer from the upcoming Amonkhet looks interesting as well.
Right now I am in the process of totally rebuilding Zirilan.
Over last 3.5 years my local play group evolved and it is no longer possible to play slow decks as this one.
I regularly play against Zur the Enchanter, Derevi, Empyrial Tactician, Karador, Ghost Chieftain, Narset, Enlightened Master and so on.
At first I tried different dragons decks such as Jund Goodstuff with dragons, Bladewing the Risen combo (which worked quite well) but finally settled on Scion of the Ur-Dragon as my standard dragon deck because it is the only dragon deck that can match the power level of my meta.
That aside I recently turned back to Zirilan to get him going again. As of now it is a work in progress but as soon as I have a tested version I will post it here for suggestions.

But that should definitely corrspond to the plane.

Finishers in my deck are:
- Genesis Wave
- Avenger of Zendikar + Craterhoof Behemoth + Haste (Concordant Crossroads or Akroma's Memorial)
- Squall Line
Card draw is crucial in the deck but a bit hard to find in mono green.
I run:
- Sylvan Library
- Life's Legacy
- Lifeblood Hydra
- Momentous Fall
- Greater Good
- Harmonize
- Mind's Eye
- Soul's Majesty
- Garruk, Primal Hunter
- Soul of the Harvest
- Regal Force
- Kozilek, Butcher of Truth
If you are interested in the token strategy you should take a look at the Omnath primer here in the forum.
Have you considered Polluted Bonds? It is a great drain card.
Dread is a No Mercy-like card.
If you rely on your creatures Athreos, God of Passage is a good way to either get them back if removed or further drain your opponents' life.
When I ran a zombie deck (with Lord of Tresserhorn as commander) my opponents groaned each time I played Call to the Grave.
Also: do you find yourself blocking often with your creatures? If not you can replace Rage Reflection with Berserkers' Onslaught.
Cheers
Hey GoblinsOfParadis - my thoughts exactly:

Zombies in Legacy? Now I am curious!
Oh and grats btw!

My Thelon of Havenwood deck would rejoice in new additions.
New fungi in W and/or U would also be ok if I will ever switch to Ghave, Guru of Spores or Atraxa, Praetors' Voice.
