I may be missing something, but how does a deck like this play against a combo like splinter twin? It seems like this deck has no way to disrupt it, and it's slow enough that it wouldn't be able to outrace it. I'd love to play this deck, it just seems like it would suck to have absolutely no play against such a large part of the modern meta (any combo deck).
Hey all, so I'm hanging out with a few,of my friends I haven't seen in a while to play magic. However, I'm worried because there is a large range of power levels from the decks my friends are playing. One is playing a homebrew modernish sacrifice deck with a jankyness level of over 9000, one uses a mono white deck made from cards he had plus some singles he bought, and the last one just netdecked the current standard RDW. Before I saw the decks they were playing I was planning on coming in with a budget birthing pod deck I made, however I'm pretty sure it would just stop anything but the RDW. So now we agreed that I would proxy a deck to play with them. I've been trying to figure out what to play, but anything I come up with either would stomp the janky decks, or do nothing against the RDW. Is there a good deck that would handle the situation I'm in, or is the only real solution to proxy two decks?
