Not sure how how it would work.
You probably need green, don't you? Tireless Tracker and Second Harvest seem the best choices as Tracker should pump out 3-4 clues, and Harvest halves the number you need for the combo. Tracker also should allow you a risky alternative to the mill - if you can't quite mill everything away, combo off, keep him as your critter and he should be big enough to deal with their last critter, so they have to block and you could win via damage in a turn or two.
I'm not sold too much on Pore, not sure yet.
By the way (mostly to Ark above), yeah 16ish clues - unless you have multiple Fleeting Memories out which not sure how often that will happen but it's possible. Journal can allow you to get multiples though.
I'm not sure how best to get the manabase working though. Harvest's GG is tough, not harder than Arrogance's WW though. -

ArkthePieKing posted a message on U/W Noir (working title)So your first paragraph is a little unclear, but from what I'm gathering your goal is to get Fleeting Memories out onto the field, amass a gallon of clue tokens, then play Tragic Arrogance and mill them out? Assuming best case scenario you end up with Fleeting Memories on the field and have 5 mana and a Tragic Arrogance in hand on turn 5, You'd still need 17~ clue tokens to mill them for their full 60. That seems like kind of a tall order. I don't have to to look now but maybe some permanents that can investigate repeatedly? Bygone Bishop springs to mind but I don't think you're running enough creatures to merit that, but something along those lines.Posted in: Standard Archives -

EDIT: I meant Clone Legion.
It works as a Blue Fog/Board Wipe, and that's not too shabby. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Except in EDH 2/2 don't matter. Just a fail of a card, playable nowhere except limited.

It's still unacceptable to have your official website broken for a year.

Ugin, the Spirit Dragon 8
+2 Ugin deals 3 damage divided amoung any number or target creatures or players. Creatures dealt damge this way become colorless
-1 Turn target creature face down. It becomes a colorless creature with no abilities and 2/2 base power and toughness.(Or however you would word that).
-4 Take and extra turn after this one.
-12 Gain control of all colorless permanents, than turn all face down creatures face up.

Sticks with the colorless theme, has burn ability in reference to Ghostfire, interacts with morph without requiring it, and references the time travel element. Personally I would like to see something like this.
