    Dutiful Attendant
No. The trigger will still need a target that is another card than the attendant.

Except Bontu is like Reprocess, Ilharg is like Sneak Attack, and Rhonas is like? Uhh... Nothing, really.
Berserk. Mass, and with vigilance instead, but it's Berserk.

I suppose you're right. I was following the suggestion from the Bontu thread that they might all be from Urza's block.

Random deck could be interesting. A day is definitely way too quick. Commenting on a decklist is a much bigger ordeal than simply commenting on a card.

Perhaps something like "coment on a change" could be interesting. Say you have a decklist bu are thinking about some alternatives for a few spots in the deck. Then you wouldn't need to comment on the entire deck but you have that to see what the deck tries to do and can then comment on the specific cards that is considered for the spots and their pros and cons.

A more expensive eternal witness with some relevant EDH-abilities and a yardfiller/drawengine if you have som etop manipulation. Seems fine to me.

    Hi HugSeal,

thanks for getting back to me Smile

I was attempting to tag the by pressing the card tag icon and pasting in the url of an image. Do you just type the name of the card between the sets of card brackets?

That all makes sence now. I presumed that fighting was the same as the battle stage.

It's awesome that it can also be used on a tapped creature! What a powerful card for such little mana!

    Blue

In the toolbox field you have a symbol that looks like a little card. So either press that and type the cardname between the brackets or simply type [card.]Cardname[/card.] without the dots.

Here is a list of the phases in a turn. It's a good way to get a hang of the overall structure of a turn.

Prey Upon can be good but it requires ou to have a biger creature than them and you are spending a card to kill a card for them. But that is strategy talk and belongs in another section of the forum.

    Prey Upon
    Regisaur Alpha

and here's some rules text for fight.

    701.12. Fight
701.12a A spell or ability may instruct a creature to fight another creature or it may instruct two creatures to fight each other. Each of those creatures deals damage equal to its power to the other creature.

As you see no part of fighting taps the creature.

In general in magic you do everything the card or rules tells you to do and not anything more. So during a fight the card doesn't tap.

You can even fight with a tapped creature since the keyword fight doesn't care about if it is tapped or not.

Do note that the Regisaur will still have the damage from the fight marked on it. So if it fights a 3 power creature even blocking it with a 1 power creature will kill it.

    Not Indestructible?

No, but is the hardest of the gods to get rid off. You baiscally need a terminus-effect.

You might want to think of it as 6 mana if you are considering the haste and "flash" aspects. Otherwise, the land you play it on has to be tapped to play the spell, making haste irrelevant and "flash" to block irrelevant. It is still a cool end of opponent's turn play to make a big guy to swing on your next one. Just remember you need 6 mana up to use it immediately.

That is why you use mana artifacts in the deck, so you don't need to tap the target.

As for the card, very nice card. I've been wanting to do an animated land deck for commander for a while.

That doesn't really change anything though. If you want to leave a land untapped that is still one extra mana, doesn't matter if you pay with lands or rocks.

But a 9/9 flash haste for 6 is still nice, so is a 9/9 flash citp tapped for 5.

He has some very unhealthy aggression and he treats you in ways you shouldn't treat a friend.

Regarding the magic part. If he completely ignores your coments regarding powerlevel and keeps upgrading the deck the simplest thing is to simply not play against that deck. If he brings it out simply refuse to play against it or scoop turn one. If you are playing for having fun and he is playing to win no matter the cost then you have some seriously mismatched decks.

Playing that mismatched deck is pretty much a waste of time imo. The conclusion is already decided and you are just going through the motions when you both know how it will end up.

But as RxPhantom said. This seems to be rooted outside of the game and it seems like your friend is either having a tough time or that you have grown apart and he has grown into a person you don't want to be friends with.

Have you talked to him about the aggression and his detoriating manners? Communication is key in any relationship.

Ok, that is helpful. But I need to be a little more detailed on it.

    For example..

    1. I cast traverse, then ask opponent if my spell resolves. Pass priority to opponent.
    2. Opponent now has a choice to remove things from my yard with ooze.
    3. If they pass priority to me without removing anything in the yard. I can now search for kalitas?

    Am I interpreting this right?

Yes. You cast the spell, then you pass priority.
Now the opponent has a chance to either respond or also pass priority, if he passes then the spell resolves.
When the spell is resolving you decide what to search for (depending on what you want and if you have delirium)
While the spell is resolving no player will get the ability to respond until after the entire spell has resolved.

Yes. The card tells you to reveal the hand, not just look at it.

Here is some card specific rulings for thoughtseize:

If you target yourself with this spell, you must reveal your entire hand to the other players just as any other player would.

The card specific rulings is a great place to start when you are wondering about a certain card.

Yes. The delirium checks on resolve to see if it is active. From the card specific rulings for traverse the ulvenwald:

Some delirium abilities that appear on instants and sorceries use the word “instead.” These spells have an upgraded effect when they resolve if there are four or more card types among cards in your graveyard. They check that number only while they’re resolving and don’t count themselves, since they aren’t in your graveyard yet. You only get the upgraded effect, not both effects.

The players will have to obey as many requirments as possible. They don't have to pay to attack you but they could still attack another player and by doing so obey one more requirment than if they don't attak. Therefore they would have to attack someone else (or pay to attack you)

508.1d The active player checks each creature they control to see whether it's affected by any requirements (effects that say a creature attacks if able, or that it attacks if some condition is met). If the number of requirements that are being obeyed is fewer than the maximum possible number of requirements that could be obeyed without disobeying any restrictions, the declaration of attackers is illegal. If a creature can't attack unless a player pays a cost, that player is not required to pay that cost, even if attacking with that creature would increase the number of requirements being obeyed.

    Azorius Chancery

The trigger simply tells you to return "a land you control", not "another land you control" so as mentioned you can bounce any land, even itself.

As a sidenote if it couldn't bounce itself they would act as free ramp turn one.

Soecific card rulings for the chancery:
"If this land enters the battlefield and you control no other lands, its ability will force you to return it to your hand."
