posted a message on Precursor Golems and copy creature spells
There are some mistakes in the previous. Firstly, it is not true that the number of ordinary golems is quadrupled each time: 96*4=384, not 288. Secondly, a Precursor Golem produces two golem tokens, not three.

This is what I think is correct:
(still not counting the initially targeted Precursor Golem until the end)
    Start: 8 Precursor Golems
After first copying trigger and going through its results: 8+8=16 Precursor Golems, 8*2=16 plain golems
Second one: 16+16=32 Precursor Golems, 16 + 16 (direct copies) + 16*2 (from new Precursor Golems) = 64 plain golems
Third one: 32+32=64 Precursor Golems, 64+64+32*2=192 plain golems
Fourth one: 64+64=128 Precursor Golems, 192+192+64*2=512 plain golems
Fifth one: 128+128=256 Precursor Golems, 512+512+128*2=1280 plain golems
Sixth one: 256+256=512 Precursor Golems, 1280+1280+256*2=3072 plain golems
Seventh one: 512+512=1024 Precursor Golems, 3072+3072+512*2=7168 plain golems
Eighth one: 1024+1024=2048 Precursor Golems, 7168+7168+1024*2=16384 plain golems
Ninth one: 2048+2048=4096 Precursor Golems, 16384+16384+2048*2=36864 plain golems
Finally, add the initially targeted Precursor Golem and one copy of it, for 4098.

I have been thinking about this, and have had some ideas that I haven't gotten to work yet.

Still trying to exponentiate the opponent's creatures every turn:

A small change to a previous deck:
and something else; I'm thinking of something that requires two colored mana from Forbidden Orchard and Spire of Industry, and that can either add life or make progress towards winning.

    and one more card.
This one runs into trouble with the mana requirement of Tamiyo, the Moon Sage; Soulfire Grand Master and Tasigur, the Golden Fang can also serve the same purpose, but unfortunately they can win on their own.

This results in a large number of the opponent's tokens, but does not take a long time because the main process does not use any mana!
Note that the second dependency on Coat of Arms, from Sinstriker's Will, is necessary; we cannot rely on just the dependency from the last ability of Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas, because then it would be possible to accumulate loyalty counters without Coat of Arms, only playing it after getting enough.

and probably some planeswalker; each turn, the opponent's tokens will attack the planeswalker, and one has to block those that can be blocked, and sacrifice the blocking tokens for mana and for life from Plunge into Darkness, then use Murderous Betrayal to destroy the enemy tokens that were not blocked.

    Taking a different direction:
    • red-green or green-white depletion land
and something that requires red, green or white mana multiple times, and requires Progenitor Mimic to copy Doubling Season. Sapseep Forest would work if its ability were something useful; Goblin Kaboomist would work if the tokens could deal damage to players.

Mechanized Production could also be used if there is a way to make a single permanent an artifact that doesn't last just one turn.

    This should be an improvement.

Forbidden Orchard is used four times to charge Calciform Pools in the opponent's turns and once more to cast Tidewater Minion, which then stops the opponent from winning with the five spirits, and is used to charge Calciform Pools for a long time. Eventually, Ghost-Lit Raider is cast, and on the next turn, Intruder Alarm, Coat of Arms, and Splinterfright are cast. From then on, Ghost-Lit Raider, Forbidden Orchard, and Tidewater Minion have to be used to take down the opponent's creatures every turn, as well as white mana from Calciform Pools, and taking one down almost doubles the number of them. The resulting number of turns should be between 2^^42 and 2^^43.

    Something else similar should work:

Exile two Simian Spirit Guides and tap Glimmervoid to cast Gathan Raiders face down.
Turn it face up, discarding Golgari Grave-Troll.
Cycle Street Wraith, replacing the card drawing with dredge, which gets one Narcomoeba, four Sword of the Meek, and one Fatestitcher. The Narcomoeba returns to the battlefield; return the Swords of the Meek to the battlefield.
Play Tolarian Academy and tap it to get four blue mana.
Cast Proteus Machine face down and turn it face up; it doen not matter what creature type is chosen.
Unearth Fatestitcher with the last blue mana and use it to untap and tap Tolarian Academy, getting five blue mana this time.
Cycle Esper Sojourners and untap and tap Tolarian Academy, then do that three more times, ending up with thirteen blue mana.
Cast Riptide Survivor face down and turn it face up with seven blue mana left; discard Golgari Grave-Troll and draw three cards.
Cast Coral Trickster face down and turn it face up; untap and tap Tolarian Academy, ending up with eight blue mana.
Cast another Coral Trickster face down and turn it face up; untap and tap Tolarian Academy, ending up with nine blue mana.
Cast Weaver of Lies face down and turn it face up with one blue mana left; turn Riptide Survivor and the two Coral Tricksters face down.
Turn a Coral Trickster face up with the remaining blue mana, and untap and tap Tolarian Academy, getting five blue mana.
Do the same with the other Coral Trickster, ending up with nine blue mana.
Turn Riptide Survivor face up with six blue mana left; discard nothing and draw three cards.
Cast Vesuvan Shapeshifter face down and turn it face up, leaving one blue mana; make it a copy of Weaver of Lies, and turn Weaver of Lies and the two Coral Tricksters face down.
Now Weaver of Lies, Vesuvan Shapeshifter, and the Coral Tricksters can be repeatedly turned face down and up to get infinite blue mana; Riptide Survivor and Glimmervoid can be hit to get mana of other colours and draw cards. Repeatedly cycle Resounding Thunder, discarding Emrakul, the Aeons Torn with Riptide Survivor to get it back, dealing damage to the opponent as many times as necessary.

This should be quite a lot better.
    • First, the three lands are played.
    • After some time, Rushwood Grove is emptied to cast Coat of Arms and cast Tamiyo, the Moon Sage after tapping the other two lands.
    • The first ability of Tamiyo, the Moon Sage is activated each turn for a long time to stop the opponent's creature token from attacking and accumulate loyalty counters, while also accumulating storage counters on Rushwood Grove.
    • Once ready, the third ability of Tamiyo, the Moon Sage is activated, giving an emblem; on the opponent's following turn, the opponent's creature token attacks and takes one's life total down to 19.
    • On the next turn, Forbidden Orchard is tapped to cast Scorching Spear targeting the opponent, taking the opponent's life total down to 19 and getting Scorching Spear back because of the emblem, and the first ability of Tamiyo, the Moon Sage is activated to hold down one of the opponent's creature tokens. On the opponent's following turn, the opponent's other Spirit creature token, which has 2 power because of Coat of Arms, attacks and takes one's life total down to 17.
    • The same is done on the next turn, and this time the opponent has two 3-power creatures to attack, taking one's life total down to 11.
    • The same is done on the next turn, and this time the opponent has three 4-power creatures to attack; now is the time to use Mercy Killing on one, which gives the opponent four Elf creature tokens, and the other two take one's life total down to 3. Mercy Killing is gotten back by the emblem's ability.
    • On the next turn, the first ability of Tamiyo, the Moon Sage targets one of the opponent's Elf creature tokens, and as before, Scorching Spear is cast with Forbidden Orchard. On the opponent's following turn, four Spirit creature tokens and three Elf creature tokens attack; Mercy Killing is cast first on the Elves, which gives the opponent another 4, 7, and 13 Elf creature tokens, and then on three of the Spirits, which gives the opponent another 4, 3, and 2 Elf creature tokens; the opponent now has 34 Elf creature tokens and one Spirit creature token. The one remaining attacking Spirit creature token takes one's life total down to 2.
    • Subsequent turns proceed in a similar way. For each of these turns except the last, on the opponent's following turn, Mercy Killing has to be used on all Elf creature tokens but one, which takes the number of Elf creature tokens from N to (N-1)*2^(N-1)+1; it also has to be used on one Spirit creature token, or two for the second of these turns, giving the opponent two, three, or one more Elf creature token.
    • Most of the mana used for Mercy Killing has to be provided by Rushwood Grove (Tolarian Academy can provide a bit), so the period of accumulation has to be long enough for all of this.

    I think I have a better one.

The only way to win is to attack with Magus of the Tabernacle ten times.
One must sacrifice Lotus Bloom for three white mana to cast it, after which one can never get Lotus Bloom back.
Magus of the Tabernacle gives all creatures upkeep costs of {1}, including itself.
Eldrazi Spawn tokens from Growth Spasm are the only way to pay for that, but they also have upkeep costs from Magus of the Tabernacle.
Because of that, once Magus of the Tabernacle is on the battlefield, one must sacrifice half of one's creatures to pay for the upkeep costs of the other half every upkeep.
Growth Spasm cannot be cast once Lotus Bloom is lost.
Therefore, one must have 1023 Eldrazi Spawn tokens after Magus of the Tabernacle is cast, and one more is needed to cast it, for a total of 1024.
To get those, one must repeatedly retrieve Growth Spasm and Lotus Bloom with Dwell on the Past and Doomsday, and must also have Emerald Medallion on the battlefield.
Doomsday halves one's life total each time; one must gain life to survive it.
Ivory Tower is the only way to gain life, but once Emerald Medallion is cast, one can never gain life from Ivory Tower again; therefore, enough life must be gained beforehand.

Putting everything together, here is what one should do.
(At the start of each of the following lines is the turn number.)
    1 Suspend Lotus Bloom.
4 Get Lotus Bloom, sacrifice it for three green mana, and cast Ivory Tower and Dwell on the Past targeting Lotus Bloom.
5 Draw Lotus Bloom and suspend Lotus Bloom.
8 Get Lotus Bloom, sacrifice it for three black mana, cast Doomsday, put Lotus Bloom and Dwell on the Past into one's library, and lose 10 life.
9 Draw one of those cards.
    10 Draw the other one.
11 Gain 1 life from Ivory Tower, making one's life total 11.
12 Gain 1 life from Ivory Tower, making one's life total 12.
13 Gain 1 life from Ivory Tower, making one's life total 13.
    [continue in the same way]

2^1024 Gain 1 life from Ivory Tower, making one's life total 2^1024, and suspend Lotus Bloom.
2^1024+3 Get Lotus Bloom, sacrifice it for three green mana, cast Emerald Medallion, and cast Dwell on the Past targeting Lotus Bloom and Doomsday.
    2^1024+4 Draw Doomsday.
2^1024+5 Draw Lotus Bloom and suspend Lotus Bloom.
2^1024+8 Get Lotus Bloom, sacrifice it for three black mana, cast Doomsday, put Lotus Bloom and Dwell on the Past into one's library in that order, and lose 2^1023 life.
2^1024+9 Draw Lotus Bloom and suspend Lotus Bloom.
2^1024+10 Draw Dwell on the Past.
2^1024+12 Get Lotus Bloom, sacrifice it for three green mana, cast Dwell on the Past targeting Lotus Bloom and Doomsday, and cast Growth Spasm; there is no basic land to find, but one still gets an Eldrazi Spawn token.
    2^1024+13 Draw Doomsday.
2^1024+14 Draw Lotus Bloom and suspend Lotus Bloom.
2^1024+17 Get Lotus Bloom, sacrifice it for three black mana, cast Doomsday, put Lotus Bloom, Dwell on the Past, and Growth Spasm into one's library in that order, and lose half one's life (2^1022 the first time).
2^1024+18 Draw Lotus Bloom and suspend Lotus Bloom.
2^1024+19 Draw Dwell on the Past.
    2^1024+20 Draw Growth Spasm.
2^1024+21 [Repeat from seven lines above, 1022 times.]

2^1024+9219 Get Lotus Bloom, sacrifice it for three green mana, cast Dwell on the Past targeting Lotus Bloom and Doomsday, and cast Growth Spasm; there is no basic land to find, but one still gets an Eldrazi Spawn token.
    2^1024+9220 Draw Doomsday.
2^1024+9221 Draw Lotus Bloom and suspend Lotus Bloom.
2^1024+9224 Get Lotus Bloom, sacrifice Lotus Bloom for three white mana and one Eldrazi Spawn token for one colourless mana, and cast Magus of the Tabernacle.
2^1024+9225 Sacrifice 512 Eldrazi Spawn tokens to pay for the upkeep costs of the other creatures and have Magus of the Tabernacle attack.
2^1024+9226 Sacrifice 256 Eldrazi Spawn tokens to pay for the upkeep costs of the other creatures and have Magus of the Tabernacle attack.
2^1024+9227 Sacrifice 128 Eldrazi Spawn tokens to pay for the upkeep costs of the other creatures and have Magus of the Tabernacle attack.
2^1024+9228 Sacrifice 64 Eldrazi Spawn tokens to pay for the upkeep costs of the other creatures and have Magus of the Tabernacle attack.
2^1024+9229 Sacrifice 32 Eldrazi Spawn tokens to pay for the upkeep costs of the other creatures and have Magus of the Tabernacle attack.
2^1024+9230 Sacrifice 16 Eldrazi Spawn tokens to pay for the upkeep costs of the other creatures and have Magus of the Tabernacle attack.
2^1024+9231 Sacrifice 8 Eldrazi Spawn tokens to pay for the upkeep costs of the other creatures and have Magus of the Tabernacle attack.
2^1024+9232 Sacrifice 4 Eldrazi Spawn tokens to pay for the upkeep costs of the other creatures and have Magus of the Tabernacle attack.
2^1024+9233 Sacrifice 2 Eldrazi Spawn tokens to pay for the upkeep costs of the other creatures and have Magus of the Tabernacle attack.
2^1024+9234 Sacrifice the last Eldrazi Spawn token to pay for the upkeep cost of Magus of the Tabernacle, have Magus of the Tabernacle attack, and win the game.

    That is 2^1024+9234 or 179,769,313,486,231,590,772,930,519,078,902,473,361,797,697,894,230,657,273,430,081,157,732,675,805,500,963,132,708,477,322,
    407,536,021,120,113,879,871,393,357,658,789,768,814,416,622,492,847,430,639,474,124,377,767,893,424,865,485,276,302,219,601,246,094,119,453,082,952,
    085,005,768,838,150,682,342,462,881,473,913,110,540,827,237,163,350,510,684,586,298,239,947,245,938,479,716,304,835,356,329,624,224,146,450 turns.

The first one was not good:

    The next one was incomplete:

and I could not find anything suitable to give life.

Next was one like the current one, but with Eladamri's Vineyard in place of Emerald Medallion, which does not work properly, because Eladamri's Vineyard gives green mana that can be used to cast Dwell on the Past.
It was then changed to Darkwater Catacombs, Izzet Signet, Helm of Awakening, and finally Emerald Medallion.
