I'm running syncopate for a turn two counter spell. I'm not planning on running any guild gates because they are a little to slow for this deck. I want to have mana up for counters at all times. I want to be able to play elite arcanist turn four, not five or six. Also, any planes walker suggestions? I was thinking maybe the jace from rtr, maybe one or two Ajani's to pump up arcanist.
Hey everyone, it's me, The_Lonely_Wizard, and I'm building a deck. I want to build a UWR elite arcanist deck, and so far for the deck list I have:
4 x Elite arcanist
4 x magma jet ( it's being reprinted in theros )
4 x silence
4 x render silent
4 x syncopate
4 x essence scatter
4 x warleaders helix
2 x assemble the legion
2 x aetherling
4 x pursuit of flight
And the lands of course. So I, like most other players noticed that arcanist is a 1/1 for four. So I need some way to pump him up so he won't die in combat, or to burn. I have pursuit of flight, but that's not reliable enough. If you have any suggestions, please post. And btw, is like them to be standard legal when innistrad rotates please.
