I believe "mana value" includes mana weight, ie how much color to how much colorless, in addition to numerical value. I mentioned "cmc" because only going 4 deep has 14 different values this can can tackle to return the life total to the starting life total.
Nope, mana value is a new term replacing converted mana cost, that's it. Mana cost and mana value are not the same thing.
As someone who runs a Land value engine in their The Ur-Dragon edh deck I definitely have to find room to wiggle this card in. Getting treasures while abusing my fetches and canopies is quite nice.
As a fellow Ur-Dragon player running the full suite of fetches, I can certainly understand your excitement
Back then, Wizards offered - at least in Europe - special card boxes which contained like a starter deck and three boosters, each in a foreign language. And they contained Korean Chronicles, which were blackborder. I cracked Nicol Bolas and Dakkon Blackblade!!! Talk about FEELS!!!
Are you sure it's not Japanese? I don't think Chronicles was ever printed in Korean.
On topic, do we know if there is any variant for Piru? I hope they would at least have given her the old frame treatment!
not just flashback - instant is huge over sorcery - and the ability to choose the target after you see you hit a 2 or a 14. Not that this set is going to be anything but insane in draft - but if you take this card and toss it in the uncommon spot it could make turn 3 splat you for 8 turn 4 splat you for 14 a viable strategy.
Now that you mention it, flipping Scion of Draco off of this must be living the dream in draft
The Rampant Growth seems absolutely terrible. They had to push this more surely, given there's so many 4 mana double ramp spells with, some upside already, why on earth would you ever want this?
The only upside I see is that you get one mana untapped now. You also get to cast this twice if that matters.
So this always costs 1 mana more than what it can exile, and it can never exile Primeval Titan, Wurmcoil Engine, or half of Tron's planeswalkers...pretty meh. Unless I play that few creatures or I fancy my odds with Snapcaster Mage that much, I'd rather play Skyclave Apparition.
Don't forget to count the white pip as well. You can exile a 1 mana permanent for just W.

I'm waiting for Dragons. We only had The Ur-Dragon so far.
Nope, the ability that defines the power and/or toughness of */* creatures works in all zones, not just on the battlefield.

I think Ugin is included in those 7.

You resolve one copy at a time, so every subsequent one will have one more counter than the previous one.
