I don't think the Chain Veil makes loyalty abilities work at instant speed if I'm reading right. I would imagine it's still restricted by turn and activation time.
Backup Plan seems straight up incredible. I like Scourge too, now people can't complain about someone going after the guy not doing anything. It potentially kills pretty quick, too. It also seems pretty juicy with Kaalia.
There's obviously a lot pointing to it anyway, but if you look at the upper-right hand corner, you can see AGOS, which removes almost any doubt that some other god will be the target in question.
I actually don't really care if they stray from source material a bunch if it could make a good movie. Yeah, sticking close would be preferable, but taking liberties is not necessarily a bad thing when it comes to film. A good example is Nolan's Batman trilogy and X-Men First Class, and while I'm not saying it'll be a total blockbuster, I am hopeful they can make an enjoyable film that could generate some interest in the game.
Nice. Dripping with flavor, and looks like a great limited environment. Not everything is super amazing, but not every card needs to be and people who are like "the whole set is awful" need to get real.
No good card is ever printed at the right rarity... that's the corollary to my earlier statement.
Good and rare = "WotC greedy bastards"
Good and mythic = "WotC greedy bastards AND I'm quitting forever"
Good and uncommon = "Pushed"
Good and common = ... actually, no one complains about good cards that are commons.
I guess this means that MTGS wants all good cards to be common? But, if that happens... what will the other slots be full of?
P A R A D O X
People complain about Thunder Strike, which is a good common!
Jackal Pup 2 is a welcome addition to monored. Anger of the Gods is a bit annoying with it, sure, but he's still good He helps come back from boardwipe, too.
The Fates seem really clunky. Cool idea, but the execution leaves much to be desired.
Oh, I really like the art on the Satyr too. It seems like it's supposed to be a bit unnerving, which amuses me.
Yes, we've seen art of him and he was mentioned in at least one other flavor text.
I'm historically terrible at predicting cards, so I won't.
Favorite way to lose is in a close, drawn-out game with a lot of interactive plays and maybe some big combos, depending on how things go.
Least favorite way to win or lose is hard lock or just any kind of constant denial of plays. There's nothing fun about that.

I want to like the green guy but he seems to be doing completely incompatible things.
